- Led American League in stolen bases 9 consecutive seasons (1956-1964).
- Made major league debut on 17 April 1956.
- Holds Baltimore Orioles single season record for Stolen Bases (57 in 1964).
- Inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame in 1982.
