- Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Discovered acting as a child in grade school plays and became avid watcher of the Late show and Late, Late show attributing this to his high rate of absenteeism from school. Began acting in grade school but put it on hold in his teens to hang around streets not returning to it seriously until his early twenties. Attended high school only until the end of 9th grade before quitting and becoming a member of a street gang and troubled kid being drawn in by the lure of the streets. After many mistakes and some close calls he successfully and gratefully achieved adulthood something many of his close friends did not achieve. He eventually went on to attend college at MacMurray College then DePaul University Chicago in his twenties. He is an avid reader and writer and an outspoken advocate of education crediting it with saving him. He also works with gang youth, abused and "at risk kids". Often plays gritty, tough street wise characters as well as street guy with a heart. Heroes include St. Dismas, his sister and any kid who makes it. One of his dreams is to one day open up a safe haven drop in center/theater for at risk youth. He has a passion for politics, writing and anything born of creativity.
