Born in Meadville, Pennsylvania which is also the hometown of Sharon
Stone and Todd Holland. The youngest of three boys. His paternal
great-grandparents came to the U.S. from County Cork, Ireland while his
maternal side of the family arrived here in 1629, having abandoned the
Viking life in Normandy around 1500.
His first cousin once-removed, Vince Sherry, was brutally murdered along with his wife in the mid-'80s. This became the subject of a best-selling true crime novel entitled "Mississippi Mud".
Ambidextrous, but writes left-handed, a result of teachers in
elementary school taking things out of his left hand and putting them
in his right.
Worked as a waiter at Hard Rock Cafe, New York, while Vincent D'Onofrio worked front-door security there.
Was the boy singer for the Miss Crawford County Pageant, the winner of which was Sharon Stone.
Starred in the play "Doing Judy!" in Los Angeles and San Francisco. During his curtain call in the LA production one evening, Sharon Stone ran onstage to hug him and praise his performance.
