Her passion for acting was ignited at the young age of six where she began performing at the Orange County Children's Theatre and the Camino Real Playhouse in California. Her great grandmother, Eleonor Marie Swenson was an American Broadway actress and opera singer.
Ashley spent her childhood and adolescence in various theatrical productions, including "Little Women," "Into the Woods," and was a part of the first cast to perform playwright Laura Lundgren Smith's "We Are the Sea." She also trained in opera and jazz singing. As a young adult, she pursued her craft in film, studying at the Carol Hickey Acting Studio.
