We love Animal Planet series "Pit Boss" and the stars Sebastian Saraceno and Ronald Clark. The series is a docu-drama that follows Shorty Rossi, owner of Shorty's Rescue, an organization devoted to pit bull rescue. Well, Sebastian Saraceno and Ronald Clark from the show have collaborated with indie rock band Post Trauma to release their debut Ep "Risen." .Risen. will be released on June 1st and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to dog charities and rescues. Dogs in need will benefit if you buy and spread the word to others! The decision to donate part of the proceeds to charity was easy; as Sebastian shares: .Working on the show 'Pit Boss,' I saw how important...

New Mirror Mirror movie delivered kidlike fun, storyline seemed very flat & more. Relativity Media released their half-baked Snow White flick "Mirror Mirror" into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and,in my personal opinion,it was very, very flat. However, I think that it is good for the kids. I think that's what they were shooting for. If it wasn't,they really messed up. I can't believed this movie was ever being compared to the upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman" flick with Kristen Stewart. It won't even compare, plus it's for a more adult audience. Mirror Mirror stars: Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, Robert Emms, Mare Winningham, Michael Lerner, Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, Martin Klebba, Joey Gnoffo, and Sean Bean. In the flick, the evil queen (Julia Roberts) took over the kingdom, once Snow White's (Lily Collins) father went missing,...

I find it absolutely impossible not to be drawn in by Tarsem Singh's visuals. The guy knows how to paint an optical feast and on the heels of Immortals, The Fall and The Cell, his kid-targeted Snow White tale, Mirror Mirror, is no different. And as far as general audiences are concerned, it may to be his most accessible feature yet.
Accompanying all its scenic splendor, Mirror Mirror is an innocent, farcical take on the story of Snow White without devolving into annoying slapstick. As far as I can tell it seems to hit most of the typical plot points of an evil queen attempting to kill the "fairer" princess who eventually falls in love with the dashing prince, enter the seven dwarfs and yadda, yadda, yadda... the end. When it comes to the story, you're already lockstep and in line. Having never read the classic Grimm brothers' fairy...

Title: Mirror Mirror Directed By: Tarsem Singh Starring: Julia Robert, Lily Collins, Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, Jordan Prentice, Mark Povinelli, Joe Gnoffo, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Ronald Lee Clark In Tarsem Singh I still trust. No, his films may not be the best of the best, but you can always count on Singh to wholly embrace whatever he’s working on, push the limits and, in turn, make it his own. In the vain of the beloved fairytale, Mirror Mirror tells the story of Snow White (Lily Collins). "Mirror Mirror" is the latest in a long line of Snow White stories -- "Once Upon A Time" on ABC is ongoing, as is the saga of Snow White and her Fabletown cohorts in the graphic novel series "Fables," with the film "Snow White and the Huntsman" not far behind. The Tarsem Singh-directed film, however, is the most kid-friendly of the bunch, with the evil queen character played for laughs by Julia Roberts. Even if this film only has a touch of the dark side, its stars Lily Collins and Armie Hammer insist "Mirror Mirror" is more modern, because Snow White learns to fight for herself, her prince, and her people. "Our Snow White has no huntsman," Hammer noted, "but it's an over-the-top family comedy. We're not trying to make 'Grapes of Wrath' here." And because it's a Singh film, the visuals are everything, as the two leads and...

We wouldn't be the first to admit that the first trailer for Relativity Media's Mirror Mirror was a little disappointing. More of a comedic adventure than its live-action Snow White rival, Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman, the jokes in Mirror Mirror's trailer seemed mostly stale and uninspired and the movie lacked the visual feast usually associated with director Tarsem Singh (Immortals).
After releasing a sneak peak featurette only days ago (and pushing the release date back two weeks), Relativity is looking to improve on its previous effort with a new international trailer, which focuses more on the adventure aspect of the movie as Snow White (Lily Collins) learns some fighting techniques from the seven dwarves (Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Martin Klebba, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, and Joey Gnoffo) in order to battle the Evil Queen (Julia Roberts).

It seemed like Tarsem Singh would have been the perfect director to bring the story of Snow White to life as a live action film. Unfortunately I don't think his film Mirror Mirror looks very good at all. Lily Collins may look great as the character Snow White, but this comedic version of the tale simply just isn't interesting to me.
Collins had this to say about her character,
She is modernized and doesn't stay a victim. She can take control of her destiny and is the princess saving the prince.
The story follows the exiled princess who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright and Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, in a magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer...

Did you know Julia Roberts stars in Tarsem Singh’s Snow White movie, Mirror, Mirror? If not, I’m sure the new posters will clue you in on that tiny detail. The question is, does Roberts mind having her face associated with this fairy tale turd?
Maybe it’s a contract thing because I would want to distance myself from this spectacular mess as much as possible. Did you see the trailer? I know this isn’t supposed to rival Snow White and the Huntsman but come on. I’ve seen animated shows that look more realistic than this thing.
Lily Collins, who plays Snow White, actually gets a little face time in one of the new promos but the studio obviously wants to push this as a Julia Roberts vehicle. My, how far has the former Pretty Woman fallen?
I guess it’s possible the movie might actually surprise me…...

Unfortunately the Tarsem Singh directed Snow White film Mirror Mirror looks like crap. At least that's my opinion, maybe there are some of you out there that actually think the movie looks good, but for me it just comes off as being rushed and cheap. I've seen better fantasy films on the SyFy channel. If you haven't seen the trailer for the movie yet, check it out below so you can decide for yourself.
Relativity Media has released these first two posters for the film that really don't do anything for me. There is nothing cool about them. They were basically created to sell the fact that Julia Roberts is the film's star, but I'm not sure how much star power Roberts even has anymore these days. I've always liked watching Roberts in her films, but it seems like her star is beginning to fade as well. This film just doesn't look good,...

The first trailer for director Tarsem Singh's Snow White film Mirror Mirror has been released today, and I don't think it's what you were expecting. In fact after having watched the trailer I'm surprised as hell that it came from the same guy who directed The Cell, The Fall, and Immortals. This film definitley looks like it was rushed through production. I honestly didn't expect to say this because I was looking forward to it, but Mirror Mirror looks like a very mediocre film with cheap laughs. It looks like something we might see on a SyFy channel original movie. I'm truly disappointed, I was expecting something much much better.
I heard it was going to have comedic elements, but I didn't think it was going to go this far. It looks like they were working with a terrible script, and every bit of comedy element thrown into this trailer falls flat for me.

Lily Collins, Mirror Mirror: Snow White and Seven Dwarves Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, Martin Klebba, Joe Gnoffo Tarsem Singh's Snow White project for Relativity Media has finally been baptized: Mirror Mirror. Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, and Armie Hammer star as, respectively, Snow White, the Evil Queen, and Prince Charming. Making things a bit confusing, Universal's rival Snow White movie, Snow White and the Huntsman, stars Kristen Stewart, Liam Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron as, respectively, Snow White, the Huntsman, and the Evil Queen. According to various images showing Collins as Snow White, she looks precious little like Disney's poisoned-apple-eating heroine. Directed by Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart's Snow White is even further out there, having more in common with Joan of Arc or Mia Wasikowska's armor-wearing Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. After some dancing around, release dates were set for both films.

Relativity Media announced today that their Tarsem Singh directed Snow White film will be titled Mirror Mirror. The films in in production for so long without a title, that I just thought it was actually going to end up being called Untitled Snow White Film. The movie has completed shooting and is now going through the post production process. It makes perfect sense that the action acomedy would be called Mirror Mirror.

For the longest time (even with filming going on) we've all had to refer to Tarsem Singh's upcoming Snow White film, as Untitled Snow White Project, or Tarsem's Snow White. Relativity Media has now announced the official title.
Seriously...It was getting to the point where I was beginning to think the film would actually be called Tarsem's Snow White. They didn't seem in any rush to change or announce a title, and on the whole, I didn't think that'd necessarily be a bad thing either. But Relativity has put a stop to that now by sending our a press release for the new title: Mirror Mirror.
Those of you that are familiar with the Snow White tale probably recognize this as the phrase the Evil Queen utters to get the magic mirror to work. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It gets the point across,...

Isn't it pretty? Snow White surrounded by her seven dwarves? Relativity Media has released new images of their still-untitled "Snow White" project starring "The Blind Side's" Lily Collins in the title role and Julia Roberts as the ultra-fierce Evil Queen.
This one will stay true to the spirit of the Brothers Grimm fable but with a decidedly more edgy take with vengeance at its heart. Snow White is looking for revenge after her evil stepmother kills her father. So who does she call for help? The seven dwarves of course! By the way, the seven little people with big hearts will be played by Jordan Prentice, Joey Gnoffo, Sabastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Mark Provinelli and Ronald Lee Clark.
I'm sure the dwarves will not be called Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Happy, Bashful, and Grumpy.

Relativity Media have released the first look at Julia Roberts and Lilly Collins in director Tarsem’s iteration of Snow White which is competing with Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Huntsman to be the biggest Snow White at the box office next year.

Two Snow White films have been in production since summer, and we've already seen images [1] from one, the action-oriented Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart as Snow White. Now here are the first images from the other, Relativity and Tarsem's currently untitled Snow White movie starring Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer and Lily Collins. These pics show Collins as Snow White, surrounded by dwarfs; Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen; and Armie Hammer as the prince. They suggest a sort of family-friendly comedy. We knew the film would have a comedic tone [2], but this is more bright than I expected. Check out more images below. EW [3] debuted the shots, and recaps that the film features a ball in which Snow White enters the Queen's court as she tries to get the Prince to help her overthrow the Queen. The Queen, meanwhile, is trying to kill Snow White, and Tarsem says of Roberts' character,...

Here is your first look at Julia Roberts and Lilly Collins from Tarsem's Snow White film from Relativity Media. The colors are a lot brighter than those of being used by Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman. The photo above shows Snow White (Lilly Collins) and her dwarves (Jordan Prentice, Joey Gnoffo, Sabastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Mark Provinelli, Ronald Lee Clark and Danny Woodburn). Below is a photo of Roberts as the Evil Queen.
These pictures are not necessarily how the film will actually look, but I am not liking the tone. Tarsem‘s Snow White arrives on March 16th, 2012, Snow White and the Huntsman stars Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth and arrives in June.

There is a battle on the horizon and it isn’t just contained in the plot of these upcoming films. Universal and Relativity Media each have Snow White films and after a release date shuffle, the openings are (currently) set, and now the marketing brawl begins.
Tarsem (The Fall, Immortals) is directing Relativity’s film, which looks more family-friendly and including the bright palette we expect from the visual expert. EW have unveiled our first look at Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen in her golden throne. And above we have a new look at our Snow White (Lily Collins), with her dwarves (Jordan Prentice, Joey Gnoffo, Sabastian Saraceno, Martin Klebba, Mark Provinelli, Ronald Lee Clark and Danny Woodburn).
I’d much rather have our first reveal of characters be an actual still or an on-set shot, instead what seem like advertisements for costume designer Eiko Ishioka. I have no...

As we revel in the fairy tale trend, we’ve been following several projects based on the classic Grimm fairy tale, Snow White. Relativity’s yet untitled Snow White film and Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman are the most visible thus far, but what’s the difference between the two?
Writer Jason Keller, who wrote the script for Relativity’s untitled Snow White, talked about a marked difference in tone for the two takes in an interview with NYMag:
“Ours is not dark. I mean, I know Snow White and the Huntsman is very intense, and lots of chain mail, and armor, and Kristen Stewart has a sword. Ours is an adventure, ours is funny — it’s a comedic adventure! And there’s some great action in it. It’s stunningly gorgeous, and it’s fun … Ours will be PG or PG-13, and the other one will probably be a R.

Thanks to screenwriter Jason Keller we have some more new details on Tarsem Singh's upcoming Snow White film, which stars Lily Collins, Armie Hammer and Julia Roberts. This is one of two Snow White projects that will be released next year, and there was a battle to see who could get there project to the theaters first. Entertainment Weekly has released our first look at the young actress Lily Collins as Snow White in Tarsem Singh's adaptation of the classic fairy tale. I have to say I love the look of the character, and I'm convinced that Collins will make for a great Snow White. In a recent interview Collins described the character as...
...a joyful person who lights up a room and maintains grace at all times. She’s a naive innocent young girl who turns into a woman and really finds herself... She’s very much that fairy tale princess we’ve all read about in books. She’s been modernized in a way that she becomes a fighter in the end.
She then goes on to talk about the prince (Armie Hammer) the queen (Julia Roberts) and this awkward love triangle in the film saying,
They’re competing for the prince in separate ways.
