Now that the “America’s Got Talent” auditions and Judge Cuts rounds are a thing of the past, what’s in store for the rest of the season’s schedule? As this is the 15th year of NBC’s reality TV show, the network will air an anniversary special next week on Tuesday, August 4. Normally another round of Judge Cuts would have been slotted that week, but because of the coronavirus pandemic the entire season had to be re-structured. The all-important live shows begin the following week on Tuesday, August 11.

Filming of Season 15 of “America’s Got Talent” was already underway when the nation began locking down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As such, the Judge Cuts round which normally brings acts back to the big stage for a second audition instead took place virtually for 10 acts that the judges couldn’t make a decision on. One of those acts was Craig Reid, a hula hooper from Scotland who turned the notch up to create a high value production for his “Agt” video submission. Watch his audition above.
Set to Lady Gaga‘s hit single “Stupid Love,” Craig smartly chose the Neon Boneyard at The Neon Museum Las Vegas as the locale of his audition. Together with the high energy song, the space provided his hula hoop act the appropriate context and atmosphere to make what is otherwise a childhood game something exciting and fresh for the judges. In fact, the...

The Judge Cuts round of “America’s Got Talent” saw a major overhaul this year, and it’s all because of the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc with Hollywood productions. Instead of four episodes dedicated to dozens of acts, only a select number of contestants were asked to perform during Tuesday’s sole Judge Cuts outing. All of the other acts were told their fates at the beginning of the episode without having to perform again. Of the 10 acts who gave it their all from their homes, five sailed through to the live shows. So, which of the five eliminated acts do You think was most robbed: The Ninja Twins, The Brothers Gage, Craig Reid, Ty Barnett or Ryan Tricks? Vote in our poll below.
The Ninja Twins — Love them or hate them, these singing and dancing brothers are certainly memorable. For their encore performance the Ninja Twins produced a music video to — what else?...

The Judge Cuts round of “America’s Got Talent” season 15 began on July 28 with another two-hour episode that saw the series doing things a little bit different in order to keep the crew and talent socially distant from one another. In this phase of “Agt,” judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara convened on an outdoor set for a drive-in movie themed viewing of the acts filmed from home.
Absent from the Judge Cuts are the five acts that advanced from the auditions round straight to the live shows for receiving a Golden Buzzer from one of the judges or host Terry Crews. Those were Voices of Our City Choir (Terry’s pick), singer Roberta Battaglia (Sofia’s pick), singer Cristina Rae (Heidi’s pick), dance group Waffle Crew (Simon’s pick) and spoke word artist Brandon Leake (Howie’s pick).
Below, follow along as we recap all...
