Born in Debrecen, Hungary, Marton Varo Jr. relocated to Orange County,
California with his family at a young age.
Having earned a BFA in Film & TV Production at Chapman University, Varo
began earning notable praise early on with his short films.
After gaining experience working at a number of production companies in
Los Angeles, Varo established Rockview Productions in 2003, segueing
into writing and directing his own projects. The first film produced
under the Rockview banner was "Rules of the Game", which has screened
at a number of film festivals worldwide and garnered a handful of
awards and recognition.
Having extensively collaborated with Academy-Award nominated
screenwriter Leonard Schrader, Varo is actively developing a wide
variety of projects.
