Amber Kirsch graduated with a BA in Communication Design with a Media
Arts concentration from California State University, Chico. After

produced high quality films and within a few months she was hired at
Industrial Light and Magic, Lucas Film LTD located in San Francisco.
Amber's first show was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2000-2002), then Pirates of the Caribbean (2002-2003) working as a production assistant. Next, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2003-2004) and mid-show she was promoted to a Visual Effects Coordinator. After that, War of the Worlds (2004-2005) and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2005). During Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: World's End (2005-2007), she was promoted to Senior Coordinator but acted in many ways as the Associate Producer. Pirates 2 & 3 hit the theaters and broke box office records. Pirates 2 won the 2007 Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
Amber was ready for a change, seeking a smaller studio that was cutting edge and pushed the limits. She was hired by Troublemaker Digital Studios as the VFX Producer. In the summer of 2006, she and her husband moved to Austin, Texas where she worked Grindhouse (2006-2007) and Shorts (2007-2008) directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. In addition to her work at Troublemaker Studios, she is one of the Producers on the Independent Feature Film Periphery. From there she went to New York to shoot Sorcerer's Apprentice (2008-2010) and then to Los Angeles for post production where she currently lives and works.
From a young age she had a passion for the arts and was fortunate to have found what she loves to do.
