With a name like “Ninja Zombies”, it’s pretty safe to say that I’m going to be there regardless of how stank and sorry the production may be. Don’t get me wrong — I’m definitely not saying that Noah Cooper’s upcoming action/horror flick is either stank, sorry, or a rancid combination of the two. In fact, I happen to think it looks pretty darn spiffy. However, be that as it may, I’d still watch a movie called “Ninja Zombies” simply because it contained the words “ninja” and “zombies”. That’s mostly because I’m a loser, but that’s an article for an entirely different website. In case you’re oblivious to “Ninja Zombies”, here’s the plot: Dameon, an irresponsible slacker geek, begins having nightmares — flashes from the life of a samurai on the run and a sword that can raise the dead (the...

Indie filmmaker Noah Cooper is a man after my own heart. Instead of simply making a movie about either ninjas or zombies, he’s taken both and savagely mashed them together in an effort to satisfy a very specific audience. The result of all this ambitious filmmaking is the upcoming action/horror flick “Ninja Zombies”, a movie that blends two of my favorites things into the sort of cinematic casserole I could consume for days and days on end. Besides, it’s hard to find immediate fault with a production that chronicles the adventures of landlord who attempts to protect his tenants from evil ninja zombies. Here’s the official synopsis: Dameon, a young landlord with no real job or responsibilities, begins having nightmares — flashes from the life of a samurai, and a sword that could raise the dead. When undead ninjas start attacking his tenants, he discovers that the samurai was his ancestor,...

The entertainment world is mourning the loss this week of Peter Graves, who made a name (and a face) for himself in the 1960s series "Mission: Impossible." Graves died Sunday at the age of 83. Although an official cause of death has yet to be determined, Graves' publicist told CNN that he suffered from a heart attack. Graves didn't have a lot of genre credits to his name outside of "M:i (and even that is a weak connection to what we cover), but he did guest star in five episodes of "Fantasy Island" in the late 1970s and early 1980s as Capt. Erik Von Voorten. He also played Maj. Noah Cooper in a 1979 episode of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" and Mark Needham in the "Alfred Hitchcock Hour" episode "I'll Be Judge - I'll Be Jury," that aired in 1963. -- [CNN]----------Massa shows ...
