- She sang as a soprano chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company from 1925 until the following year. During her time with the company she played the small roles of Chloe in "Princess Ida", and The Lady Ella in "Patience". She gave up both roles at the start of the 1925-1926 season, though she did substitute on occasion as Chloe, before leaving the Company in December on the eve of its 21-week tour of Canada.
