Tite Kubo’s Bleach features a variety of attacks that the Soul Reapers use to fight their enemies, but nothing compares to the power and might of a Bankai. It is the final upgraded form of a Zanpakuto (Soul Reaper’s Katana) that allows its users to unlock the evolved form of their sword and use it to defeat their opponents in a battle.
Bleach anime | Studio Pierrot
The series has shown some dangerous Bankai, and it has made its place in one of the strongest attacks in the history of anime and manga. However, initially, Kubo didn’t plan on including Bankai in the series. In fact, he never planned for the Shinigami (Soul Reapers) to have Katanas as their main choice of weapon in the first place.
Kubo once revealed that he wanted the Shinigamis to carry handguns and wear suits instead of kimonos and katanas. However, he...

In the 2000s, the shonen genre was dominated by the Big Three, featuring none other than Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece. If we talk solely in terms of numbers, then Bleach has not done as amazing as the other two. However, Tite Kubo’s manga and anime series has continued to attract fans through its captivating plot, and a protagonist that stood out from the rest.
Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach
Unlike other anime series, Tite Kubo’s magnum opus keeps his fans hooked with its layered and incredibly strong antagonists. Aizen, who was one of the main villains of the series, kept things interesting as his Bankai was the strongest of them all. However, a fan has come up with a theory that he could not flaunt his true power as his blade restricted him from doing so.

Bleach has some of the most complex yet intriguing styles of fighting including the use of bankai. From Byakuya Kuchiki’s Senbonzakura Kageyoshi and Shinji’s Sakashima Yokoshima Happōfusagari to Ichigo’s Tensa Zangetsu. They are visually artistic, mesmerizing, and most importantly; dangerously powerful. There are many who work hard and dedicatedly to achieve their bankai.
Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, Byakuya Kuchiki’s Bankai | A still from Bleach
Tite Kubo’s skills allow not only a spectacle to look at but also a story to engross oneself in completely. There are many who can achieve their bankai, such is the case with how close their bond is to their Zanpakuto. At the same time, there are those who are unable to achieve the same. Aizen is the biggest example of the same. Although he wasn’t able to achieve that, his abilities did not make him feel like he was lacking one.

One of the reasons why Death Note is one of the biggest anime series even after so long is the fact that, since the beginning, the series has introduced a new twist or turn in every episode. The mysterious psychological thriller, with the addition of supernatural entities, makes it one of the most successful pioneers of the anime industry.
Death Note Anime
The main credit for this goes to the writer of the series, Tsugumi Ohba, and the illustrator, Takeshi Obata. The combined effort of the two is the reason why Death Note is so great. However, even great creators like Obata have limitations. In an interview, Obata revealed the one problem in his art that he cannot control or solve.
Obata has stated that he is really bad at drawing female characters because he cannot understand them. Despite his incapacity to illustrate female characters, Obata managed to bring in...

Netflix's track record with producing live-action anime is mixed, at best. The streamer's "One Piece" series has already been renewed, but the live-action "Cowboy Bebop" was a swiftly-canceled mess.
Their most infamous project, however, is probably "Death Note." This story, first told by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata in a mega-popular manga, focuses on the Japanese teenager Light Yagami. One day, a notebook falls from the sky into Light's lap. Dropped by a Shinigami (a Japanese death god) named Ryuk, the "death note" will kill anyone whose name is written on its pages. Light decides to purge the world of evil by using the Death Note to kill high-profile criminals, becoming a serial killer himself in the process. Dubbed "Kira" (a Japanese pronunciation of "Killer"), he gains allies (deludedly loyal pop idol Misa Amane) and adversaries (eccentric master detective L).
This 2017 film, directed by Adam Wingard, transposed this story to Seattle.

On October 30, Fox aired the newest "Simpsons" Halloween special, "Treehouse of Horror Xxxiii," the sixth episode of the long-running show's 34th season. The longevity of "The Simpsons" has never been something to scoff at, but the fact that the show is still innovating and connecting to different generations' sense of humor is even more impressive.
The second segment in this year's "Treehouse of Horror" received a lot of attention from fans leading up to the episode's release by parodying the well-known, edgy horror anime series "Death Note." The episode emulated the style of "Death Note" perfectly, even down to commissioning the animation house that animated the original anime, the South Korean studio Dr Movie.
"Death Tome" follows Lisa Simpson gaining possession of the titular Death Tome, allowing the user to kill any person and also choose their cause of death by writing. Haunted by a Shinigami, Lisa should be sent into a crisis of morality,...
