Tommy Corrigan is an Indigenous Australian actor and writer, born on June 26, 1998 in Melbourne, Australia. He first began attending acting classes at the age of 18. His earliest influences include Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Hutchence and Tupac Shakur.
Whilst pursuing his career, Corrigan works in Aboriginal Archaeology. His passion for Archaeology and learning of Cultural Heritage comes from his Aboriginal origins, the 'Arrernte' tribe of Alice Springs. He has worked in Aboriginal Archaeology for over 6 years.
In 2010, he received a High School basketball scholarship to Rowville Sports Academy. Within 2 years of attending, in 2011 and 2012, he played in 2 State Championships. Over both consecutive years, Rowville remained undefeated.
In 2013, he represented the state of Victoria at the Under 15's National Indigenous Football Carnival in Townsville. After playing a pivotal role in defence across the tournament, Victoria placed 2nd, the best they had ever finished in the National Carnival.
After his success in Townsville he returned to Melbourne to continue training in the National Intensive Training Program (NITP) in basketball. Later in the same year, he was selected as the starting Point Guard of the Victorian Metro Under 15's state team.
His dedication saw him once again selected in the 'Laguntas' Victorian State Indigenous Football team in 2016 and 2017. Where he was awarded the N.A.I.D.O.C Indigenous Athlete of the Year award.
Most recently, Corrigan starred in the Global Indigenous Runway, an International Fashion Show held by PayPal in Melbourne, Australia. The opportunity saw him exhibit garments, designed by renowned Indigenous fashion designers from across the globe.
At the completion of Melbourne Fashion week. He was invited to Vietnam to represent Australia and model garments once again at an International level across Phan Thiet and Ho Chi Min City.
