Directed by Sagar Ballary, the sports biopic Jungle Cry, which releases on May 20th, is an incredible and inspiring true story. It follows the journey of twelve very underprivileged boys from Kalinga Institute in Odisha, with no shoes, no equipment, and no clue about rugby went to play and won. These determined boys trained hard to master this difficult and hard-hitting sport, and not only that, within just four months, they became the roaring The Jungle Cats of India and went on to win the 2007 Under-14 Rugby World Cup in Wales.

Prashant Shah, formerly VP and head of production at Benaroya Pictures and a veteran Hollywood and Mumbai producer, has launched Bollywood Hollywood Production. The fully financed media company will focus on the acquisition, development and production of feature films in both the Hindi and English language, aimed at worldwide audiences. At launch, the company has in the works more than a half-dozen movies over the next two years with budgets between $5 million-$50 million.

A new Miss New Jersey USA has been crowned: 18-year-old Emily Shah.
Indian-American Shah was the youngest among more than 130 contestants in the New Jersey pageant held over the weekend. She will now go on to compete for the Miss USA and Miss Universe titles.
Shah has a background in entertainment in both India and America. She has acted in Hollywood films, like "The Great New Wonderful" with Naseeruddin Shah and Bollywood films such as "Out of Control" alongside Riteish Deshmukh, "Ta Ra Rum Pum," and "Jaaneman," among others.
The daughter of La-based Bollywood producer Prashant Shah, Emily plans to work in action films and is currently working as an assistant of the stunt team for the Hollywood movie "Run All Night" starring Liam Neeson and Ed Harris.

Shah has worked extensively in the UK and India and his credits include Ra.One and My Name Is Khan, which ranks as Bollywood’s highest grossing film.
“After seeing Shah’s great successes with a variety of international productions, we look forward to a continued track record of producing high-quality films,” said Benaroya.
“We will have a disciplined and cost-conscious approach to production management regardless of where we make the picture,” said Shah.
The Benaroya Pictures slate includes Brian Horiuchi’s Parts Per Billion. Sundance premiere Kill Your Darlings will open in the Us through Spc.
