Jenna Bush Hager is the latest on-air personality to test positive for Covid, forcing her to miss Wednesday’s Today with Hoda and Jenna.
“We should point out, by the way, Jenna’s not here. Jenna got Covid, but she is doing great,” Hoda Kotb told viewers at the start of the show. She said that she talked to Hager on the phone and is I “feeling great, feeling good.”
Her whole family has it,” Kotb said. “You know how it is, everyone gets it, they quarantine, and then 5 days later, everything’s going to be just fine.”
Stephanie Ruhle filled in for Hager on Wednesday. Sheinelle Jones, Carson Daly, Willie Geist and Andy Cohen also will fill in as Hager is off.
Earlier this week, Anderson Cooper missed CNN’s AC360 after he tested positive for Covid, with John Berman filling in for him.

Anderson Cooper did not host his CNN show Monday night, revealing hours before that he had contracted Covid-19.
Cooper announced the diagnosis on his Instagram Story, alongside a photo of himself lying in bed.
“Just tested positive for Covid,” he wrote. “Thankfully the kids are negative. Hope to get back to work soon.”
In his stead, John Berman hosted “Anderson Cooper 360” and will do so again Tuesday, TheWrap confirms. The rest of the week’s hosts are still up in the air.
It’s not clear when Cooper will return to the show. So far, he has not said whether he is symptomatic.
Cooper has two sons, 23-month-old Wyatt Morgan and 8-week-old Sebastian Luke.
After welcoming Sebastian in February, Cooper took a few weeks off from his show to spend time with his family. He had just recently returned.

CNN’s John Berman put the blame for the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic squarely on the shoulders of the unvaccinated Thursday morning.
“This is now a pandemic of the unvaccinated. It is now a pandemic of choice — the choice not to get vaccinated — and it’s a choice that’s having a profound impact, a bad one, on the rest of us,” said the “New Day” anchor. “The facts bear it out.”
Berman said most officials have been “too polite” to bluntly lay the blame for recent surges in hospitalizations and deaths on those who haven’t been vaccinated. “Frankly, the blame doesn’t need their help,” he said. “It’s placing itself. It’s just obvious. If the unvaccinated are not to blame, who is?”

CNN “New Day” host John Berman on Tuesday fact-checked President Trump’s comments about the influenza pandemic — noting that the president was incorrect with his historical dates.
“The closest thing is in 1917, they say, right? The great pandemic certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people. Probably ended the Second World War, all the soldiers were sick,” Trump said during a White House briefing the day before.
“Can you spot what’s wrong with this statement? For starters, wrong year, wrong war, and it didn’t end it. The great influenza pandemic was 1918, not 1917. 1918 was the end of World War I, not World War II, which was, you know, a lot later. And neither was ended by the flu,” Berman said in response to the president’s comments.

CNN is also putting former ABC News correspondent John Berman, who joined the network recently, on its Early Start show with Zoraida Sambolin.
