On Oct. 7, Gaga took to social media to show her Little Monsters how she'd be celebrating with her boyfriend, Christian Carino. "After rollin around on the couch feeling sad with the help of some of my #grigiogirls and a very special someone I managed to dress up and feel better in a beautiful pink sequined dress generously gifted to me from @oscardelarenta," she wrote on Instagram. "Sonja would want us to celebrate her birthday. So we are. Dressed in pink and handing out pink chocolate kisses for #breastcancerawareness." Lady Gaga hit the stage at Coachella last weekend, and to say she killed it is an understatement. The Joanne singer kicked off the show with "Scheibe" before launching into a medley of her hits, including "Alejandro," "Bad Romance," and "Just Dance." Gaga first appeared in a leather outfit and later stripped off the outer layer to reveal a black bodysuit and leggings. After her 18-song set, Gaga surprised fans when she introduced a new song to the crowd, saying, "I've been so excited for this next part of the show because I've been trying to keep it a secret for so long. I've been in the studio and I'd like to debut a brand new song, 'The Cure.'" The track is a change from her previous album, but we have a feeling you'll be playing it loudly all Summer. Gaga returned to Coachella on Saturday for weekend two...

Oh, those insidious creative differences. Just when you think you're about to get something done, boom! Creative differences show up and wreck even the happiest of Hollywood marriages. It's an epidemic.
Case in point: according to Deadline, James Franco has just quit the upcoming indie "Garden of Last Days." The unusual twist? Franco himself was going to direct the film, meaning he just walked out on his own movie.
So is it possible to have creative differences with yourself?
Normally we'd say no, but in the crazy world of James Franco, pretty much anything is possible. 'Cause, you know, James Franco.
In this case, though, things go a little bit deeper than your run-of-the-mill case of schizophrenia. Oh yes.
"Garden of Last Days," you see, was to be an adaptation of the novel of the same name by "House of Sand and Fog" author Andre Dubois III — this time, a...

[1] Fantasia Festival is North America's premiere (and largest) genre film festival. Created by Pierre Corbeil, André Dubois and Martin Sauvageau, Fantasia started in 1996 screening Asian films from Hong Kong and Japan, with Japanese anime as well. In 1997, the festival expanded its focus to bring in genre films from around the world, not just East Asia. Since then, Fantasia has featured many North American premieres and some world premieres. There have also been films screened in pre-final-cut condition, just to be there, find distributors, or build buzz. . It is a place where distributors come to pick up genre films from around the world for North American release, and where fans come from all over North America to see films that normally would not even be screened on the Art House or repertory circuit for fear of low turnout.
