CJ Malone
- Actor
CJ Malone was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and primarily raised in Kennesaw, Georgia. His mother instilled a love for music in his life very early on. He grew up singing gospel hymns and soul music, which enticed him to join multiple church choirs throughout his life. At 8 years old, he had his first role in a school musical, The Polar Express, as Santa Claus. From there, he began to pursue the stage as much as he did music.
Over the next decade, he would perform in nine theatrical productions being cast as four lead, and four supporting roles. During his time at Marietta High School, he was a member of the Mentoring for Leadership program. They gave him opportunities to be involved in serving his community, and helped him grow into an empathetic and mature individual. In his junior year, his school won 2nd place in the GHSA 7A Regional One Act Play competition. They won 1st place the following year, CJ winning "All-Star cast member", and placed in the state competition. The growth he endured just within these four years allowed him to earn the title of Mr. MHS for the class of 2020.
He then attended Kennesaw State University, where his focus directed towards film acting. He chose to pursue a degree in Public Relations, to compliment his acting career. As a newcomer to the film industry, he booked four student films, at multiple universities, in the span of two months. As a college student, he became a barista at Starbucks and interned at his church to serve in the youth department.
In his lifetime, he's found personal breakthroughs connecting to work that genuinely touches him. What used to be an insecurity, he has accepted as part of his being and strives to create true, lifelong inspiration. He lives life appreciating the significance of all the little things the world has to offer, and listens to learn from their stories.
