Sony Pictures has revealed that Patton Oswalt, Bob Odenkirk and Ian Roberts will join genre-frenzy movie The Kitchen Sink, as the full cast begins to take shape.
Oswalt, Odenkirk and Roberts will star in The Kitchen Sink, in what is being described by Deadline as a “genre mash-up” of zombies, vampires and aliens. The project that has been in the works for quite some time, with Robbie Pickering directing a script from Oren Uziel, and Ron Schmidt and Jonah Hill on board as executive producers. Matt Tolmach is producing the movie and had this to say about The Kitchen Sink back in 2011 (from The Hollywood Reporter):
“It’s more in the spirit of The Breakfast Club than anything, but you get an idea of the title in an early scene where two kids are running from zombies. Those zombies suddenly are attacked by vampires. Just when they are all facing off,...

We’re big fans of Ian Roberts around here. Before there was Jason Collins… ten years before there was Gareth Thomas even… the Australian professional rugby player came out of the closet while still active in his sport. The year was 1995 and we think that makes Ian Roberts the very first openly gay active professional male team sports player in the world. (Correct us if we’re wrong.)
Ian is making further history: he is now the first out gay former professional rugby player to dress up like a German SS officer and be ridden like a pony by Michelle McGee (Jesse James‘ former mistress – the one that broke up his marriage to Sandra Bullock).
Oh Ian, why. We want to block this from our consciousness, but we can’t look away. We’re just hoping it’s all one massive joke. (Albeit a really bad one).

All eyes on James Cullen Bressack‘s upcoming found footage film Hate Crime! Check this out: it’s the Most Horrifying film of Pollygrind Film Festival, won Best Picture & Best Director at Underground Monster Carnival as well as Audience Award at Killer Film Festival Online and – believe it or not – it still has no distribution! Reason? Too controversial, almost banned in the UK, and so on… Bullshit!
All that because the movie centers on a family who arrives in a new neighbourhood: they are recording their youngest son’s birthday celebrations on video and then… well, then comes that controversial part of the story – their home is invaded by a bunch of crystal-meth-crazed neo-nazi lunatics…

Stars: Jody Barton, Nicholas Clark, Greg Depetro, Debbie Diesel, Sloane Morgan Siegel, Maggie Wagner, Tim Moran, Ian Roberts | Written by James Cullen Bressack, Jarret Cohen | Directed by James Cullen Bressack.
Let’s get the standard caveat out of the way first – I hate, no, loathe the “found-footage” sub-genre of horror, it’s often used as a cheap and easy way to tell a bad story. There are of course exceptions to this rule – of which Hate Crime is one.
Hate Crime has, at it’s core, a very simple premise. A family are gathered together to celebrate the birthday of the youngest member and as the father has done every year, he films the occasion. Only this year is different, in the midst of the celebration the family are subjected to a violent home invasion by a trio of masked men brandishing guns and waving swastikas, determined to...

Killjoy Goes to Hell blends campiness with sex appeal and a little bit of violence to create a visually stunning film. Very funny, this latest edition to the series is a truly enjoyable time. This title directly follows the events of the previous film, Killjoy 3. In the previous film, four college students were harassed by an insane demon. Unfortunately for Killjoy, one of his non-studious victims, Sandie (Jessica Whitaker), survived.
