Shawn Woodard attended The Ohio State University and received a
bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Woodard then continued
his education at Walsh College, receiving his master's degree with
honors in 1999. He went on to complete film programs at the Detroit
Film Coalition and Comcast Cablevision in 2000.
In 2002 Woodard made his first film R.I.C.C.O. (2002), an action
thriller. He went on to produce Office Outbreak (2006), a horror /
comedy that premiered at the Bare Bone Script to Screen International
Film Festival in October 2006. The film earned Best Picture and Best
Cast Runner-up. Woodard also earned the 2006 Oscar Micheaux
Award.
