George Macropulos

George Macropulos was born and raised in Mozambique, East Africa. At the age of 10, his parents sent him to boarding school in South Africa where he went on to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then moved to the States in 1973 where he obtained post- graduate degrees in Engineering, Business Administration and Economics. In the late-70s, he set up a management consulting and real estate development company in California. In 1986, he went to Greece where he entered the hospitality industry as a developer and operator of hotels. A few years later, he designed and built a luxury 50- passenger cruise ship which operated in the eastern Mediterranean in the summer and the western Caribbean in the winter. He returned to the States in the late-90s where he established Exclusive Properties Inc. that developed resorts in Miami Beach and the Florida Keys. In the last decade, he removed himself from company operations and became a professor in the Graduate Schools of Business and Hospitality at FIU. In the last few years, George has focused on his new career of script writing and applying his syndication and development skills to the film industry.
