Bryant Reid is a 20+ year American entertainment industry executive. He is also a television producer, fashion designer, consultant, businessman and philanthropist. Reid has held the positions of Senior Vice President of Artist and Repertoire at both Laface Records and Atlantic Records and is known as one of the major players behind the scenes who made Atlanta the music metropolis it is today due to his influence on the careers of some of the biggest music superstars known today. During his tenure at LaFace Records, Reid was the mastermind behind discovering Grammy Award-winning pop superstar Usher as well as assembling the team of writers and producers to create mega-star Toni Braxton's multi-platinum selling debut album. Reid was also involved with the wildly successful Atlanta-based female trio TLC and rap duo, OutKast, who each won multiple Grammy Awards and sold well over 10 million albums worldwide. In addition, Reid was responsible for bringing smash-hit producers to the LaFace family, including Jermaine Dupri (produced mega-hits for Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson) and Vincent Herbert (former Manager to Lady Gaga). During his brief tenure at Atlantic Records, Reid signed Tamar Braxton and The Braxton's and scored a number one hit single on the Billboard Hot Dance Club chart with "The Boss", a song originally performed by the legend, Diana Ross. Reid created and produced his very own original television program for Turner Broadcasting Systems regional cable network, Turner South. The #1 rated weekly half hour music series featured both emerging and established music artists, including Cee Lo Green and Rasheeda of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.
Reid continues his legacy of hit-making with his launch of the , HitLanta brand, which started with a modern collection of high quality, men's and women's casual sportswear and accessories that boldly fuses fashion and entertainment, paying homage to the city of Atlanta.
No stranger to philanthropy, Reid founded The Reid Foundation for Lupus non-profit in 2018. The Reid Foundation for Lupus is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting research, raising money and advocating for people living with lupus.
