- Has been lead singer with pop/R&B group Five Star since 1983.

- Composed the title song for the 1980s ITV children's game show How Dare You! (1984). This had been adapted from Five Star's hit "Stay Out of My Life".
- Her first solo single "Here I Am" was released exclusively on iTunes in January 2009.
- Is back in the UK to perform with Five Star at the 'Here and Now' tour. (December 2002)
- In 2007 she launched a solo career with her own music page on MySpace featuring many new demo recordings. Her debut album "Imprint" was released in 2014.
- Five Star scored their first and only self-composed top ten hit when the Denise-penned 'Stay Out of My Life' reached UK #9 in 1987.
