Larry Myers, who appeared on a January 2022 episode of TLC’s weight loss series My 600-lb Life, has died at age 49. Myers – a gospel singer known as “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits” – experienced a heart attack at his home in Houston, Texas, on June 13.
Family spokesperson Sonya Hines-Hall confirmed Myers’ death to TMZ. His cousin, Todd Darnell, also shared the news in a June 17 Facebook update.
“It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of my dear cousin Larry Myers. Many of you know him as Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits … Larry has fought the good fight. He has overcome some of the biggest Challenges he has ever had to face. Rest well Junior, you will be missed,” Darnell wrote.
The family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses. In the appeal, Hines-Hall, who is Myers’ god-sister, shared her memories of her late loved one, particularly his passion for music.

Another subject of TLC’s “My 600-lb Life” has died. Sean Milliken, who appeared on Season 4, Episode 12 of the docuseries, has passed away. He was 29.
“TLC is saddened to share that Sean Milliken has passed away,” the Discovery-owned cable channel said in a statement. “Viewers first met Sean in 2016 on My 600-lb Life when he weighed over 900-lbs. Over the course of his weight loss journey, he victoriously lost over 400-lbs.”
The network continued: “TLC viewers caught up with Sean this past summer and learned that despite the loss of his mother, he was still continuing in his quest to live a healthier and happier life.”

A third member of TLC's My 600-lb Life has passed away. Lisa Fleming's daughter took to Facebook to confirm the heartbreaking news on Aug. 23 and revealed that she's "not okay." "I am truly at a loss for words right now," Danielle Fleming wrote on the social media platform. "God knows I wanted you to hold on until I got here but He knew what was best for me. I didn't need to see you like that! This morning I sat and held your hand for 4 hours knowing nothing I could've done would bring you back to me. Anybody who knows me knows I gave my mother my All! She was my world and I was her #NumberOneGirl." She added, "Mommy, I love you from here to the stars and back! Those babies loved you even more. I'm happy you're no longer in pain and stuck in that bed.

TLC’s hit series My 600-lb Life has lost another cast member this August. Lisa Fleming, who weighed in at 704-lb. at her heaviest, has died. She was only 50-years-old. Lisa Fleming, who was featured on My 600-lb Life died Thursday, just months after appearing on the TLC reality series. She was 50. Her daughter Danielle announced her mother’s death on Facebook. Fleming died at her Texas home. The cause is not known.
Fleming’s episode on My 600-lb Life aired on the most recent Season 6 in February. She weighed closed to 705 lbs at the time, then underwent weight loss surgery, in which she lost 200 lbs, but her body “gave out” this week, her daughter told TMZ.
Fleming’s passing follows by just weeks the death of James “L.B.” Bonner who also appeared on Season 6 of My 600-lb Life. Bonner was found dead of a gunshot wound early this month. His death was later deemed a suicide by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office in South Carolina. Bonner was 30.
TLC released a statement at the time of Bonner’s death.

Lisa Fleming, the woman who weighed more than 700 pounds and was featured on "My 600-lb Life," has died, and she's the second person from the show who has died this month. Fleming's daughter, Danielle, says her mom passed Thursday. Danielle tells TMZ her mom's death had nothing to do with her weight.
