Chucky season 3 had to be split in half due to the writers and actors strikes, with the first four episodes (read our review Here) airing on Syfy and USA Network (as well as the Peacock streaming service) back in October. Production resumed at the end of November, and the second half of the season will begin airing on April 10th. With that date just a few weeks away, a batch of first look images have arrived online to give us a preview of what the new episodes have in store for us. One of those images can be seen above, and the rest can be found at the bottom of this article.

The Chucky franchise has been around since 1988, with the titular killer doll hacking and slashing his way through each movie.
The franchise got the TV treatment in 2020, carrying on many of the plots from the previous movies, along with a cast of new and returning faces.
It has been a success story for Syfy, drawing rave reviews and bucking the trend for horror movies being adapted into TV shows.
More often than not, switching mediums doesn’t land well with diehard fans.
But Chucky will go down as one of the best horror series on the small screen because it doesn’t forget its lore.
With the second half of Chucky Season 3 coming in hot, it’s time to take a look at everything we know about it.

Maria Georgas didn’t make a good enough impression on Joey Graziadei to get the first impression rose, but she definitely has The Bachelor viewers talking.
She showed up on night one with a flower in her hair and gifted Joey with a tiny Canadian flag.
The Bachelor viewers were confused when the flag was blurred out as Joey tucked it into his jacket pocket.
Immediately, viewers took to social media to query why the flag was blurred out.
They also commented on Maria herself, as many think she’ll take the villain role this season and believe she’ll be ruffling feathers in the mansion.
We haven’t seen much of that yet, but we’re just getting started as Season 28 kicked off on Monday night.
Maria Georgas has a black belt, and she knows what she wants
Maria Georgas is bold and outgoing according to her Bachelor profile.

Don Mancini, who has written every film in the Child’s Play / Chucky franchise (except the remake) and directed a few of them, developed the TV series Chucky with producer David Kirschner – and he has made it clear that he enjoys casting actors in multiple roles. For example, Devon Sawa has already played four different characters over the course of the TV show’s three seasons. Now Entertainment Weekly has learned that legendary filmmaker John Waters is the latest person to play two different roles in this franchise. Having previously played Pete Peters, a tabloid photographer who got dissolved by acid in 2004’s Seed of Chucky, Waters has now been added to the cast of Chucky season 3, where he’ll be playing Wendell Wilkins, “the reclusive creator of the Good Guy dolls, who gets drawn into the psychopathic Chucky’s tangled web”.

Sometimes it seems like the entirety of "Chucky" season 2 was just one, giant, collective hallucination by the fans. The season kicked off with a Halloween special, threw the main tweens into Catholic school for some fun (with a weirdly hot priest played by Devon Sawa), and gave Jennifer Tilly a "Bound" reunion/solo episode that allowed her to remind the world why she's an Academy Award-nominated performer. Fiona Dourif has continued a masterful reign at playing multiple characters inhabiting her character Nica Pierce's body, including often having to imitate the voice of Charles Lee Ray/Chucky, who has been played by her father, Brad Dourif, for nearly three-and-a-half decades.

Editor’s note: Spoilers below for the season finale of “Chucky.”
This season of Syfy’s “Chucky” series swung for the fences.
Narratively, the season took our teenage leads out of Hackensack, New Jersey and into the Catholic school which murderer turned living doll Charles Lee Ray (voiced by Brad Dourif) attended as a child. And after a season filled with the murders of children, a priest being blown up, and a meta plotline about Jennifer Tilly being possessed (by a character played by Jennifer Tilly), series creator Don Mancini took the characters back home for a Hackensack Christmas season finale with Episode 8, “Chucky Actually.”
As Mancini told IndieWire via Zoom, the finale was a capstone to a season that tried to be experimental with the narrative TV format. “I wanted to play with the structure, and the expectations of the [final] episode format,” he said. Since Season 1 ended with Chucky’s Halloween episode,...

The children of Chucky and Tiffany Valentine are returning to the Chucky franchise as Lachlan Watson is set to take on the dual role in the upcoming second season of the USA Network series. Watson, a non-binary actor best known for their role as Theo in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will play twins Glen/Glenda, the beloved characters first introduced in the Child’s Play film series. The twins were mentioned in the first season of Don Mancini’s TV adaptation when Chucky explained to Jake (Zackary Arthur) that he had a “gender-fluid kid,” though they didn’t appear on-screen. First introduced in 2004’s Seed of Chucky, Glen sets on a mission to track down his birth parents, leading to him reanimating Chucky and Tiffany. However, the sweet and kind-hearted Glen is shocked by his parents’ blood-thirsty behavior. Later in the film, we discover that Glen’s murderous twin...

That was the basis for a nice bit of NBCUniversal synergy as Saturday Night Live parodied the Syfy drama star.

It’s been 33 years since audiences first met serial killer Charles Lee Ray who transferred his soul into the Good Guy doll, Chucky. In that time, he’s been the star of several movies — and now a Syfy television series. Based on the trailer just released, Chucky might be getting too old for this, but audiences certainly aren’t.
“Chucky” looks to be both a spin-off as well as a continuation of the film franchise, with young Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) finding Chucky (once again voiced by Brad Dourif) at a yard sale. From there, the doll sets out to wreck havoc and terrorize Hackensack, New Jersey once again. We also look to be going back in time to see how Charles Lee Ray became the serial killer he was prior to having his soul transferred into a very ugly piece of plastic.

The Chucky doll from the upcoming Syfy series of the same name is extremely creepy — and probably not entirely in ways that were intended.
On Thursday, Syfy shared the first look at its murderous doll in a 20-second teaser video. Only about half of that is actual show footage, but it’s plenty to give you nightmares all weekend.
Watch the video above.
The series was ordered more than a year ago by Syfy. It will finally air this fall on both Syfy and USA Network.
Don Mancini, who wrote all seven “Chucky” films and directed three, will serve as showrunner and direct the first episode. David Kirschner, who produced all the films alongside Mancini, will executive produce alongside Nick Antosca and Harley Peyton, under Antosca’s Eat the Cat production company. UCP is the studio.

Zackary Arthur (Transparent), Teo Briones (Ratched), Alyvia Alyn Lind (Daybreak) and Björgvin Arnarson (The Seventh Day) are set to star as series regulars and the four teen leads of USA Network and Syfy’s Chucky, from the movie franchise creator/writer Don Mancini. Jennifer Tilly, reprising her role as Tiffany Valentine from the movies, and Devon Sawa (Final Destination) will recur on the project, ordered straight-to-series last year.
The new Chucky incarnation revolves around the character at the center of the horror/slasher Child’s Play film series, the red-haired, freckled-faced doll possessed by the soul of notorious serial killer, Charles Lee Ray.
