Turn off that Abba CD, dig out your cheapest bottle of booze and prepare yourselves for some bearded drag queens, saucy Polish ladies and the most barking mad stage designs that Europe has to offer.
Eurovision, the nuttiest night of television every year, is back and this year promises to be an absolute corker.
Eurovision is no fun on your own, so we'll be here all evening live-blogging the best, the worst and the weirdest acts that those crazy Europeans have to offer.
23:30So, it's Austria 2015. Bring. It. On. We're off to tuck into a Curly Wurly cake. We hope you enjoyed the evening. See you next year.
23:29"We Are Unstoppable!" A lovely end to another crazy show from Eurovision as Conchita dedicates her award to everyone who wants peact. It all gets a bit political, but in a nice way. It's truly heartwarming stuff.
23:28But it's not about Molly tonight.

Doctor Who has celebrated its 50th anniversary with a global simulcast of the celebratory episode 'The Day of The Doctor'.
The landmark science fiction programme pulled out all the stops with a cast including Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt, as well as many nods to the show's past from writer Steven Moffat.
Digital Spy rounds up the early reviews for Doctor Who's anniversary special below...
Digital Spy (Morgan Jeffery )
"The past, the present and the future – 'The Day of The Doctor' had it all. For any fan of the new series, Steven Moffat's 75-minute epic – which takes in old faces, multiple time zones, one flirty monarch, weapons of mass destruction on Earth and scenes of mass destruction on Gallifrey – is pretty much everything you could wish for."
HitFix (Liane Bonin Starr)

Diane Haithman is contributing to Deadline’s TCA coverage. Talking up the network’s mid-season cop drama Golden Boy, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said today at TCA that they initially had seen the new lead-in for Blue Bloods as a “star vehicle” for Theo James, portraying an ambitious cop who becomes the youngest police commissioner in the history of New York City. But she said when network executives watched the pilot, they began seeing the relationship between James’ character and his mentor-father figure on the force, Chi McBride’s Detective Dan Owen. “You could see the show was evolving into a different kind of show, a two-hander between these two actors,” said Tassler of the drama, created by NYPD Blue / Law & Order veteran Nicholas Wootton and executive produced by Wootton and Greg Berlanti. To countdown to Season Two of The Walking Dead – the best zombie show on TV bar none – landing in October, and simply because we love it, every Wednesday for the next six weeks we’ll be posting retrospective reviews for every episode of AMC‘s jaw-droppingly good flag-ship series.
The art of good zombie-making is a beautiful thing. And it’s also far more subtle than you might imagine. Thankfully, Frank Darabont has never had any trouble with subtelty: throughout his career as a writer and director, he has produced works that gently burrow under your skin, leaving few obvious entry wounds, but all the same growing inside from a mild cinematic fever to a full-blown invasion of your consciousness. Movies like The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, even the lowly (but still wonderful) The Majestic are far from spectacular event movies – they have few bells, whistles or frills – yet...

Today’s question comes from Dan Owen via Twitter, who wants to know: Has there ever been a good sequel to a movie made over 10 years after the previous one? Have at it... (If you have a suggestion for a Qotd, feel free to email me. Responses to this Qotd sent by email will be ignored; please post your responses here.)...

Almost like clockwork every 12 months Steve Coogan teases that a much in-demand movie version of his iconic character Alan Partridge will be ‘bouncing back’ to the big screen ‘the next year’ – only for it then never to happen. The delays are usually cited as being because of Coogan struggling to find the time to fully nail down a script that works whilst appearing in Hollywood movies, rather than any malicious intent to promise a train that he’s never gonna catch as you might have thought having seen Michael Winterbottom’s meta-comedy The Trip where Coogan plays a version of himself struggling to drop the baggage of the Partridge character.
Though I do think it’s clear that there’s a little bit of Coogan’s reluctance to only be seen as Alan Partridge that has seen him take on other work but we all know he loves the character really,...

HBO screened the first 14 minutes of their new fantasy epic Game of Thrones last night, clearly as a way to distract U.S. viewers from the premieres of The Kennedys and The Borgias (both underwhelming shows, says our T.V. Editor Dan Owen) and the immensely watchable preview has now made it’s way online and is embedded below.
Based on the fantasy bestselling swords & magic series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, the epic tale follows the violent dynastic struggles of an empire in turmoil and centers on a noble family whose patriarch (Sean Bean) is thrusted in as the king’s new right-hand man. Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage and Iain Glen co-star in what is a huge ensemble supporting Bean.

Over the weekend, Owf’s T.V. Editor Dan Owen posted an extensive article detailing the 20 TV Pilots We Want To See and my personal favourite was NBC’s proposed primetime show The Playboy Club.
The show is said to be a “a crime drama centered around the Playboy clubs of Chicago in the 1960s”, but I don’t particularly care about the plot, just that it will star Amber Heard as a Playboy bunny.
See the first look image of Amber Heard in a bunny suit that got my heart racing and will make sure I tune in if this show goes to series (which surely it will)…
The pilot is now filming in Chicago from a Chad Hodge (Tru Calling) script, that’s been directed by Alan Taylor (Sex and the City, Soprano’s).

It seemingly took forever but finally last night after a considerable marketing campaign, Sky Atlantic HD (basically a channel devoted to HBO) debuted in the U.K. with the premiere of Boardwalk Empire and the Martin Scorsese directed pilot (the most expensive in the history of television). Boardwalk has of course already completed it’s first season run in the U.S.
What was your thoughts on Episode 1 (I believe Episode 2 screens tonight)? I was caught up watching football last night so I’ve recorded it in the hope to watch it sometime this week.
Our T.V. expert Dan Owen saw it back in September, here is a snippet of his full review which I encourage you to read! But do tell us what you thought of last night’s show and Sky Atlantic in general…

As Chatroulette becomes a destination for pervs, vChatter has built a family-friendly alternative that's popular among Asian families and migrant laborers.
If Chatroulette had been launched in Asia instead of the U.S., it might look a lot like vChatter. Founded by a group of Indian and American entrepreneurs who previously made a matrimonial match-making app for Facebook, the service has become popular among Filipino and Indonesian families and migrant laborers spread across the globe.
Although Andrey Ternovskiy has been promising some kind of penis-detection technology that would clean up his popular Chatroulette service, so far it's still dominated by wankers. And that's created an opportunity for family-friendly services like vChatter, which has attracted 1.5 million active monthly users. So far about 6 million video calls have been made using vChatter and average time on the site is 5 minutes.
The founders, Hitesh Parashar, Dan Owen, and Will Bunker, specifically developed vChatter as a G-rated version of Chatroulette.

A teenager who viciously attacked Aussie actress Virginia Gay just hours before he murdered a chef has been jailed for 12 years.
Gay, who starred in TV hospital drama All Saints, was walking along a street in Sydney when the 18 year old pounced, punching and kicking her as she cowered on the ground.
He eventually fled when Gay flagged down a passing car. She suffered head injuries in the June 2008 attack, which is thought to have been an attempted robbery.
The teenager, who cannot be named, went on to murder chef Daniel Owen later that day. He was also involved in a violent attack on a cyclist. He pleaded guilty to murder and two assaults at New South Wales Supreme Court, and was jailed for 12 years and nine months at a hearing this week (begs15Mar10).
His 16-year-old pal, who admitted murder and the attack on the cyclist, was jailed for 10 years and six months.
