Jonathan Wolf

Jonathan Wolf was Managing Director of the American Film Market (AFM) and EVP of the Independent Film & Television Alliance, stepping down in June, 2022.. From his appointment in 1998, he has guided the growth and re-positioning of AFM - now the world's largest film market - into a global production and distribution marketplace which annually hosts over 7,000 industry professionals from 70+ countries. He expanded AFM with conferences, networking events, online screenings, the MyAFM community and, in 2017, LocationEXPO ®, all leading to steadily increasing attendance and, subsequently production and distribution deals done at the market which total more than $1 billion each year. He also launched The Film Catalogue, IFTA's comprehensive industry resource featuring over 10,000 motion pictures and projects.
Wolf joined IFTA in 1993 as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He quickly established IFTA Collections which now administers the international levy rights to more than 20,000 titles and has distributed over US$130 million to its participants.
A graduate of the USC Business School, he began his career with the international accounting firm Deloitte. From there he held finance positions with CBS Inc. for six years and served as Chief Financial Officer of New World International.
