Sophie has trained with the Australian Theatre for Young People and
participated in the NIDA open program. Sophie has a BA in Media
Communications; Media, Arts and Production from UTS.
Sophie has appeared in television on Home and Away, Underbelly "The
Golden Mile", Crownies, Cops LAC, All Saints, the Saddle Club,
Serangoon Road, and as "Lily Christie" on Channel Nine's Tricky
Business. Sophie played Viv Maguire in Channel Nine drama "Love Child".
Her theatre credits include most recently "The Removalists" for the
Tamarama Rock Surfer's Theatre Company as Fiona Carter, and "Silent
Disco" for the Griffin Theatre Company as Tamara, directed by Lee
Lewis. Her other credits include "The Distance From Here" for Griffin
independent directed by John Sheedy, "Summerfolk" for Bob Presents,
directed by Eamon Flack. Young Dramatists Page to Stage (Ensemble
Theatre) "It's a small world", "Problem Child". Sophie has also
appeared in short films, Bonnie Sweet Robin, Driver and The Playground.
Sophie was nominated for "Best Newcomer" at the 2011 Sydney Theatre
Awards for "Silent Disco". Sophie is a proud member of the MEAA.
