- Barry Alan Levine was born in Park Ridge, New Jersey, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for The Resident (2018), The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006) and The King of Queens (1998).
- Was an award-winning columnist for the San Francisco Weekly. Created and wrote a popular column, titled "The Man Who Came to Dinner," wherein each week he would dine with and write about a different celebrity or otherwise interesting local personality, including: Gavin Newsom, Colman Domingo, James Cromwell, Mark McKinney, Annie Sprinkle, and a professional dominatrix, among many others.
