Ekin, also known as Helin Ekin, Ekin Sahin and Helin Ekin Sahin, is a Kurdish actress who moved to London from Turkey in late 2016. Since then, she has trained at The BRIT School and performed across London and Stratford-Upon-Avon including the RSC Open Air Theatre, New Wimbledon Theatre, Stockwell Playhouse, and Arcola Theatre as well as completing the National Youth Theatre Senior Course in 2018 and performing in their production. She featured in the National Youth Film Academy's 2020 film, Intrusion, in which she portrayed "Devrim", a teen trapped/hiding in someone's attic who would then get arrested. She also took part in a couple of music videos as well as being a supporting artist in films such as 'Clued Up' and 'Street Dancer 3'. She has been training at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama since October 2020 while also working on new projects where possible. As well as her passion for acting, she also holds a Level 3 Certificate in Creative Media(Digital Design) which she completed with a Distinction grade.
