I need to get a degree and I need to sort of swallow some of my pride
and go back to school and get an office job then do the film stuff on
the evenings and weekends.
The Brattle Theater was actually my unofficial film school. I'd go to
the Brattle or I'd hear about a film series there and write down the
director's name and then start looking at everything they did, so the
Brattle is kind of my film school.
The students seem much more serious at Suffolk. At Mount Ida, students
would always come tumbling into class half an hour late, and they were
never prepared. The kids at Suffolk are really intent on being good
students.
