- Michaela Betts is a singer, song writer, lyricist and theatre maker working from studios in Surrey and London.
She has released an EP Ripe Fruit of Dark Disney / cinematic folk songs on her label No Peroxide. She writes and produces fresh and cross genre theatre and is the concept originator and songwriter / lyricist of the club theatre musical "When the Lights Come Up" in development with support from Arts Council England and The Other Palace.
Michaela is an established session singer and West End singing teacher. She has recorded two albums with the art-pop band Theghostorchestra, and performed on soundtracks to features including Higher Grounds, Slipstream, The Nutcracker The Untold Story and the TV series RCVR. Past and present students can be seen in West End, touring and international productions including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hamilton, Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Back to the Future.
She lives in Surrey with her musician partner, two creative (and at times feral) children, their greying Staffy Molly, Frank Black the Basset, Enya the Maine Coon and Dorito the Gecko.- IMDb Mini Biography By: M. Betts
