“Trauma bangs” are gone. Emily in Paris star Lily Collins confirmed on Instagram today that the cast of the popular Netflix comedy series have reconvened in Paris to begin production on the strike-delayed Season 4. Posing with the script for Episode 401, Collins revealed a hairstyle that harkens back to the first two seasons. In Episode 301, Emily famously chopped off her hair for what her Bff Mindy (Ashley Park) called “trauma bangs.” (You can watch the official Emily’s Trauma Bangs video below.) Emily sported the bangs for the entire season.
In her post, Collins referenced the long delay for Season 4, which was supposed to start filming last summer but was pushed to January by the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
“Did someone say Saison Quatre?!”, Collins wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of herself with the first episode script. “Finally reunited with my @emilyinparis fam back in Paris and it feels so good.

"Emily in Paris" season four is still on the way, though it could be a while before it premieres. Filming for the next installment of our favorite Paris-based squad has been delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but Variety reported on Sept. 29 that the show is expected to start shooting in January. Time is really of the essence.
From June 2024 through that September, all shoots in Paris are barred while the Olympic Games take place, plus access to key areas in the French capital could be restricted as early as March. Production has also already been forced to switch studios. With shooting locations becoming more competitive due to the smaller shooting time frame, it'll be a frantic few months for the "Emily in Paris" crew. But we have faith they'll make it work (please!). Series star Lily Collins spilled a few details about season four in a video...

Warning: This post contains spoilers for major plot points in “Emily in Paris” Season 3.
“Emily in Paris” might be the fun, mindless binge of the holiday season, an opportunity for audiences to admire attractive men and audacious couture without splurging on a ticket to France.
But that’s not why you’re watching.
“Emily in Paris” fans, like the characters themselves, love mess. This is a show about shiny hot people who love chaos — one of Netflix’s most successful genres — and a show that viewers too sane to blow up their own lives can guiltlessly and joyfully binge. Season 3 is no different, with flirtations, affairs, hookups, and workplace drama, some of which is legitimate madness and some of which is just messy fools loving drama. Jobs are lost, relationships sabotaged, friendships tested, and at one point Luc (Bruno Gouery) proudly declares, “I am a star fucker.” It is glorious.

At the series’ New York premiere on Thursday night, the cast of “Emily in Paris” spoke to Variety about the indecisive nature of human behavior and the juicy love triangles that will unfold in Season 3.
“[Emily] is indecisive and yet weirdly decisive. But then the second she picks a lane, it all gets messed up,” Collins told Variety at the French Consulate General, adding that she relates to her character’s uncertainty. “I feel like I like to sit in the middle of decisions sometimes and overthink a lot. Emily has to focus on one thing at a time now, and I admire that...

Netflix has unveiled the first “Emily in Paris” Season 3 trailer, previewing the show that many will be binge-watching over the Christmas holiday this year.
Indeed, the third season of the popular Netflix show debuts on Dec. 21, marking one of the streamer’s big holiday releases timed to a vacation binge. Set one year after she first moved from Chicago to Paris, “Emily in Paris” Season 3 finds Emily at a crossroads as she’s faced with two different paths both in her romantic life and her work life, trying to decide what her future looks like in France.
Of course, the trailer also sees Emily trying to make a “Golden Girls” reference to a Frenchman to no avail.
Rest assured this is far from the end of Emily’s story, as “Emily in Paris” was renewed for Season 3 and Season 4 at the same time, so a fourth season is still on...

The sun will always rise in the east, baguettes will always be a tasty treat, and Emily will always be in Paris. When all else fails, we can at least rely on those three constants.
Believe it or not, Netflix's fashion-forward rom-com is already back for more. Having premiered back in 2020, "Emily in Paris" is churning out a new season every year, telling the tale of (you guessed it) Emily (played by Lily Collins), an American who scores a dream job in Paris. While the first season saw her navigating a new job and the second saw her exploring romance, the time has now come for Emily to find the perfect work-life balance. Except that's a little hard to do when you refuse to make any decisions about your future.

Lily Collins is back as “Emily in Paris.” Netflix has released a full trailer for the third season of its hit comedy series.
The new footage reveals Emily Cooper continuing to work at her dream job at a French marketing firm, all while juggling new romances and friendships. Along with her typically stunning wardrobe, Collins’ heroine is found traveling the countryside, getting rocked by bumper cars and — yes — still brushing up on her French.
“Not choosing is still choosing?” Emily says, translating a sentence in her class, spelling out what will be the central conflict of the new season.
The third season finds Emily at a crossroads, choosing between lovers and professional opportunities. Can she juggle all of this at once? Au contraire, Emily — she will have to make up her mind about how she wants her French future to unfurl, choosing between two different pathways.

Fans have been calling for Kim Cattrall to make an appearance on “Emily in Paris,” ever since the “Sex and the City” sequel, “And Just Like That,” debuted without her iconic character Samantha Jones. Why, you ask? Well, “Emily in Paris” is created by Darren Star, who also created “Sex and the City.”
Star isn’t directly involved with “And Just Like That,” and neither is Cattrall. But on the HBO Max show, her character is said to be living in London. Of course, London is just a quick hop across the pond from Paris, where — theoretically, according to fan theories on social media — it could make of sense for Samantha Jones to appear on “Emily in Paris,” since both women work in the public relations and marketing space.
Star has already ruled out that theory, explaining that he doesn’t like crossovers, but he told Variety that he would...

“Emily in Paris” will have a lot more of Lucien Laviscount in Season 3. The actor has been upped to series regular, the streamer announced Sunday.
Additionally, creator Darren Star confirmed that the next season will begin production this summer.

Many TV shows struggle to sustain love triangles, but Emily in Paris did a decent job of it on Emily in Paris Season 2.
Now, it looks like a love triangle will continue well into the third season.
Netflix has confirmed that Lucien Laviscount has been upped to series regular on the hit comedy series.
Alfie first appeared during the second season as an adversary-turned-love-interest for Lilly Collins' Emily Cooper.
Their dynamic was fun, and it will be exciting to see how it plays out on the third season.
Fans had several theories about Alfie, but unfortunately, the second season didn't shed much light on him beyond the relationship.
Emily was left with a choice at the end of the second season about whether to remain in Paris or return to Chicago with a lucrative job.
Ultimately, fans were left to question what might come next, but given that Emily in...

HBO Max’s And Just Like That… has brought back many familiar faces from Sex and the City, but an appearance in the revival’s latest episode has diehard fans scratching their heads. In Episode 9, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friend Seema (Sarita Choudhury) meet Brooklyn nightclub owner Zed (William Abadie) after unsuccessfully trying to get into his club. After a flirtatious interaction between Seema and the Frenchman, the friends end the episode welcomed into the club by Zed, hinting at a romantic connection between him and Seema. While fans of another Darren Star series Emily in Paris may recognize Abadie as Antoine Lambert, the actor actually played a small part in the original Satc series as the memorable Tony, the Prada guy from Season 6, Episode 5. In the episode, Carrie takes her then-boyfriend Jack (Ron Livingston) on his first high-end shopping trip and is greeted by the Prada salesman by name,...

Emily in Paris is not going anywhere.
Netflix on Monday announced the series would return...
For two more seasons!
The news comes just two weeks after Emily in Paris Season 2 launched.
At the end of the aforementioned second season, Emily was left with a huge decision:
Defect from Savoir to work with Sylvie at her new firm or help Madison to land a promotion in Chicago.
It was a fun cliffhanger, but the show is called Emily in Paris, so it's hard to imagine the action shifting elsewhere.
Emily was also caught between two men.
She finally realized it was time to tell Gabriel her feelings, but he had already gotten back together with Camille.
Camille knows Emily and Gabriel were having sex, but she and Emily managed to fix their friendship throughout the sophomore run.
If Emily told Gabriel her true feelings, it would have driven a wedge between her and Camille again.

Netflix has handed a bumper, two-season renewal to Emily In Paris.
The streamer has picked up the Lily Collins-fronted comedy for seasons three and four.
It comes after the Darren Star-created series returned for its second season on December 22. The sophomore season was watched for 107.6M hours in its first week, coming second in Netflix’s Global Top Ten list for English-language series, beaten only by the second season of The Witcher, which was watched for 168M hours that week.
The series was also the streamer’s most popular comedy series of 2020 with its first season watched by 58M households in its first month.
Emily in Paris follows Collins’ eponymous character, an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago, after she lands her dream job in Paris.
Season two sees her more entrenched in life in the French capital and she is getting better at navigating the city but still struggling...

A poster for Netflix series “Emily in Paris” got the graffiti treatment, but star Lily Collins took it in style.
On Sunday, Collins shared an Instagram video showing a man walking down the street, but stopping in awe/shock when he spots a defaced “Emily in Paris” poster. In addition to some scribbles over the show title, Emily’s eyes and nose have been given a pink, almost zombie-like hue, with skeleton-esque squiggles over the character’s mouth.
“I can’t say I love the new look, Em. But A for effort…,” Collins captioned the pic.

Few shows exploded on such a love-it-or-hate-it level during the pandemic in 2020 as “Emily in Paris,” the Lily Collins—starring romance series from “Sex and the City” and “Younger” creator Darren Star. The series struck out with critics (IndieWire’s Kristen Lopez awarded the show a D grade in her review) but became a viral sensation on social media, thanks in part to “Sex and the City” costume designer Patricia Field’s designs and many of the show’s ludicrous plot elements (look no further than Emily’s insane viral Instagram posts). To the shock of many, “Emily in Paris” picked up Best Comedy Series nominations at both the Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards. Now the show is returning as confident and shameless as ever for Season 2 in December.

Emily Cooper's life is more complicated than ever on Emily in Paris Season 2.
Netflix on Thursday dropped a full-length trailer for the new season, set to premiere Wednesday, December 22.
Emily is still trying to come to terms with her relationship with Gabriel, and with Cami circling for answers, it leads to more complicated dynamics than before.
“I need to explain myself,” Emily says to Mindy of a dreaded conversation with Cami.
While Emily is struggling, Sylvie is more vocal than ever about her making mistakes while she's abroad.
“While you’re here, fall in love,” Sylvie urges.
“Make mistakes. If you’re gonna do Paris for one year, for God’s sake, do it right.”
“Now more entrenched in her life in Paris, Emily’s getting better at navigating the city but still struggling with the idiosyncrasies of French life,” according to the official Season 2 logline.

Emily in Paris is having difficulty forgetting about the night of passion she shared with hot neighbor Gabriel in a newly released trailer for Season 2 (premiering Wednesday, Dec. 22 on Netflix), and can you blame her? Their steamy hookup definitely left a lasting impression, so much so that Gabriel decided not to move to Normandy.
But now his ex-girlfriend Cami — who is also Emily’s gal pal — is suspicious about Gabriel’s reasons for staying in Paris. “I need to explain myself,” Emily insists to her friend Mindy.
