- Nickname
- B.R.
- Current members (other than Brett Gurewitz), guitarist Greg Hetson (left in 1982 and came back in 1984) and bassist 'Jay Bentley' (replaced by Paul Dedona in 1982 and came back in 1986) have both been replaced from the band for a while during the 80's.
- Past members of the band are: Paul Dedona (bass, 1982-1984) Tim Gallegos (bass, 1984-1986), Jay Ziskrout (drums, 1980-1981), Peter Finestone (drums, 1981-1982, 1984-1991), Davy Goldman (drums, 1982-1984), Bobby Schayer (drums, 1991-2001).
- Their older albums on Epitaph Records (except for 1993's "Recipe for Hate", which would later be re-released by Atlantic) were digitally-remastered. The albums are "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?" (1982), "Suffer" (1988), "No Control" (1989), "Against the Grain" (1990) and "Generator" (1992).
- (To date) "Suffer" (1988) and "No Control" (1989) are considered the band's best known works and top selling albums sold in the history of punk music.
- The band's original label, Epitaph Records, was founded by Brett Gurewitz in 1980. After the release of their 1993 album "Recipe for Hate", they departed from that label and signed to Atlantic, then Brett soon left the band in 1994 to concentrate on the future of Epitaph. However, he rejoined Bad Religion in 2001, then they re-signed to Epitaph.
