- Rolando Barral was born on June 27, 1939 in Havana, Cuba. He was an actor, known for Siete muertes a plazo fijo (1950), La presidenta municipal (1975) and Tanairi (1985). He died on January 21, 2002 in Miami, Florida, USA.
- Has acted in 70 soap operas produced in Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico.
- His first hit on the talk show circuit was "The Rolando Barral Show" on Spanish International Network (SIN), which later became Univision. During the 10 years the show was on the air, it is estimated he interviewed close to 2000 activists, movie stars, athletes and regular people.
