Welcome to this week’s review of Impact Wrestling, which this week opens with a Before the Impact match that saw Pj Black defeat Yuya Uemura in an X-Division Title Tournament 1st Round match. Let’s get into the review…
Match #1: X-Division Title Tournament 1st Round Match – Mike Bailey def. Kenny King The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Who will advance to the next round in the X-Division Title Tournament? We find out in this clash of former X-Division Champions! Bailey sends King to the outside with a flurry of kicks. King is retreating up the ramp when Bailey chases him back into the ring and targets his knee. King drops him face-first into the turnbuckle, followed by a Spinebuster. King continues the attack with a suplex on the exposed ramp. Bailey just makes it back into the ring at the referee’s count of nine. Bailey begins...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two big matches to get to, so shut up and read ya putz.
Match #1: Josh Woods def. Jay Lethal – Pure Rules Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Lethal and Woods both won two matches in the Roh Pure Title Tournament before being eliminated in the block finals. Now they’ll face each other as they jockey for position in the Pure division. They’ve only met one other time in singles competition. Lethal defeated Woods in the Survival of the Fittest tournament three years ago. However, Woods is a much more seasoned competitor today than he was in 2017, the year he won the Top Prospect Tournament. Woods, who is one half of a successful tag team with Silas Young, established himself as a threat in singles competition...

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the semi-finals of the Pure Title Tournament to get to, so shut the mouth and watch the match…skoogy.
Match #1: Jonathan Gresham def. Josh Woods (w/ Silas Young) – Block B Final The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
How they got here: Gresham defeated Wheeler Yuta by submission in the first round, and Matt Sydal by submission in the second round; Woods defeated Kenny King by split decision in the first round, and Pj Black by submission in the second round. Woods’ background in mixed martials arts and amateur wrestling has served him well in scoring wins over veterans King and Black, but if anyone can go hold for hold with him it’s Gresham, who is arguably the best technical wrestler in the sport. Woods has the advantage in size and strength,...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the continuation of the Pure Title Tournament. Santa Claus is not real! Don’t like it?! Suck it! Begin!
Match #1: Tracy Williams def. Rust Taylor The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Williams is a master wrestling technician whose skills translate perfectly to the pure style, but he faces a stiff challenge in Taylor, who possesses a similar skill set. While Taylor may be new to some Roh fans, he isn’t new to pro wrestling. The California native is a couple years older than Williams and has five more years of experience. Taylor, who began training at Jesse Hernandez’s School of Hard Knocks when he was 16, has wrestled all over the world, including Japan and Mexico. Williams, a native of Brooklyn, is one of the best pound-for-pound competitors in the sport.

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor’s Honor Reigns Supreme, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is the second show of two, with Saturday Night At Center Stage being the first. Jane Fonda makes me Fonda a good stiffy. You don’t need to know what these things mean. Let’s wrestle…with reading my bad writing.
Match #1: Rey Horus defeated Andrew Everett The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Horus, still riding high after he, Bandido and Flamita knocked off Villain Enterprises to win the Roh World Six-Man Tag Team Titles the night before, scored his second impressive victory of the weekend. Everett, just as he did in his match against Dragon Lee in Atlanta, put on a strong performance in defeat. Horus pinned Everett after hitting a twisting bodyscissors driver while Everett was perched on the top turnbuckle.
My Opinion: 3.3 out...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Greta Thunberg is famous. I didn’t know why until this morning. Why did people allow her to become the spokesman for climate change? There are plenty of less-arrogant people who have fought much harder than her to make progress and are never given the spot-light to say a damn thing. I know. This s— happens all the time. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. In any case, I feel a bit rusty, so…
Match #1: Dak Draper def. Shaheem Ali The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Ali seized the advantage with a flurry of offense, including a running dropkick in the corner and a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Draper answered with a springboard back elbow before landing the Magnum Ko for the win.
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – These...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lipstick on a pig named Smiddley and y’all gotta give him a big wet kiss! Hoo-boy! That’s Christmas, momma! As for Roh TV…well…maybe you should just go kiss that pig instead! Smooch it up while you hooch it down, bubba! It probably says a lot about my personality when talking like a hillbilly, red-neck, yokel comes a little bit too easy. Y’all got that there birthday cake handy? How sweet it is!
Match #1: Bateman def. Pj Black The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Black hit a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Bateman answered with a twisting brainbuster for a near fall. Black regained the momentum, hitting a super hurricanrana and moonsault for another near fall. Bateman thwarted another springboard move by Black...

Match #1: Silas Young and Josh Woods def. The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas), Coast 2 Coast (Lsg and Shaheem Ali) and Soldiers of Savagery (Moses and Kaun) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
All four teams had their moments in the match, but in the end it was Young and Woods who prevailed to remain undefeated. Young catapulted Lsg into Woods’ flying knees for the win.
My Opinion: 2.8 out of 5 – This was pretty good, mostly because Silas smacked the s— out of everybody. Why is Silas not getting more World Title shots? Who did he piss off? Greg Gilliland/Gilleland/who gives a...
