Dare you go Inside Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo’s ‘brutally affecting’ and deeply disturbing French feature? The film is set to strike stomach-wrenching fear into audiences once more, 15 years after its original release in 2007 as Second Sight Films have released a brand-new Inside Limited Edition Blu-ray Box set complete with a host of fantastic new special features.

I remember always enjoying Inside, and first saw it not long after its initial release. It was brutal, gory and set on Christmas Eve. Therefore, a ‘Christmas’ movie that, for a while, got watched every holiday period. But, with my ever-expanded collection of Christmas movies, and not enough time to watch them, it had been several years since I had seen the film. So, Second Sight’s Limited Edition Blu-ray release has come at just the right time!
If someone asked me if home invasion horror movies were a particular favourite of mine, my initial reaction would be no. But two of my favourite movies are Inside and The Strangers. Two movies that do lots of different things with that subgenre but that are equally as effective. Inside is the one...

Armour of God III, or simply Chinese Zodiac is an upcoming Jackie Chan‘s action adventure movie which definitely deserves our full attention. Especially now, when we finally have the full trailer for the whole thing. Get ready for a little preview of the story which will show us that searching the world for a set of mystic artifacts is never an easy job. Not even for Jackie Chan!
What’s important thing for you to know is that Chinese Zodiac is produced, written and directed by Jackie Chan, who (as usual) stars as the lead in the whole thing as well.
The movie is actually a sequel to that 1991 film Armour of God II: Operation Condor film, which means that Chan is back as that Asian Hawk guy who has to bring back the bronze head statues of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals, which were sacked by the French and...

If there is a complaint to make about upcoming French genre-fusing film Innocence it would appear to be that it is only eighteen minutes long. First appearing in these pages back in May of 2011, when a crowd funding push was on to finance the project, the film is now shot and in post and the first teaser is looking good.Directed by Raphael Bertin and Jean-Christophe Savelli, Innocence fuses elements of science fiction, action and horror. Action director Manu Lanzi boasts high profile films like Livid and High Lane on his resume while effects are being handled by David Scherer (8th Wonderland, Mirages, Theater Bizarre). Emmanuel Bonami, Pascal Loison and Rurik Salle - also a writer for the excellent Mad Movies - anchor the...

File this one away as another promising project looking for finance. And should you feel moved to throw in a few bucks, so much the better.Directed by Raphael Bertin and Jean-Christophe Savelli, Innocence will be an eighteen minute short film fusing elements of science fiction, action and horror. Emmanuel Bonami, Pascal Loison and Rurik Salle - also a writer for the excellent Mad Movies - anchor the cast. But enough talk, what will this thing look like in action? Pretty damn good, provided that your definition of 'good' includes words like 'dark', 'bloody' and 'violent'. Check out...

I've made no secret about the fact that I think Seth Rogen's Green Hornet feature film is a bad idea. From the early reports that it was to be a comedy take on the character; to the departure of key creative talent; to the recent reports that neither the plot nor even the approach have been sorted; to Rogen's goofy notions about having it feature "people made out of string"—it has "bad idea" plastered all over it.
Meanwhile, amateur French filmmaker Aurenlien Poitrimoult has shown Rogen and Gondry how a 'Green Hornet' film ought to feel (or at least whether or not it should be drama or comedy) with a Green Hornet short film that's been making the rounds. Despite its European flavor, it clearly borrows certain aesthetics from the classic late '60s series, and puts us squarely in the frame of mind for a serious treatment.
