Chris Trunkey is a motion picture industry veteran with over 25 years of financial and management experience.
Trunkey began his entertainment career with Reeves Entertainment Group (formerly Alan Landsburg Productions), a television production company in 1990; Reeves produced Kate and Allie, Homicide: Life on the Street, Doctor Doctor and many other prime-time network series.
Chris was CFO of Kings Road Entertainment from 1998 until 2000; Kings Road produced, All of Me, The Big Easy and the Kickboxer franchise, among many other films. Following the death of company founder Stephen Friedman, he led the company's sale of it's film library to Mel Gibson's Icon Entertainment.
Trunkey was CFO for National Lampoon from 2000 to 2001 during it's launch of nationallampoon and a change in majority ownership that lead to the company producing more original content.
In 2001, Trunkey joined Phoenix Pictures and became CFO in 2002. Over 18+ years, Phoenix has produced many widely-released films including Shutter Island, Black Swan, Zodiac, Holes, Miss Potter and Resurrecting the Champ, among many others. Chris continues to work with founders Mike Medavoy and Arnie Messer to get projects into production.
In 2015, Trunkey joined Zag America, as CFO. Zag is a producer of animated series including Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
In 2019, Chris joined BeBop Technology as CFO. BeBop is the premiere provider of cloud-based post-production solutions to the media and entertainment space.
