After the eventful finale of “Better Call Saul,” Bob Odenkirk thanked fans, as well as the cast and crew, for all their support in making the “Breaking Bad” prequel a hit.
“Everybody’s been asking me how I feel about saying goodbye to Saul Goodman and ‘Better Call Saul,’ and I’m not good at answering the question because it’s frankly hard for me to look at that experience and even at that character too closely,” he said in the video he posted late Monday night. “It’s just too many moving parts and they fit together too beautifully.”
He continued, “It’s a mystery to me how it even happened. Thank you for watching. I want to thank Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould for giving me the chance I did nothing to deserve this part, but I hope I earned it over six seasons. The cast around me Rhea Seehorn,...

On Monday, sportscaster Erin Andrews was awarded $55 million in damages for a secretly-recorded nude video taken of her at the Nashville Marriott in 2008.
But Sports Illustrated legal analyst Michael McCann tells People that it will be difficult for Andrews to get all of that money.
McCann points out that 51 percent of her damages are assigned to be paid by Michael Barrett, the man who filmed Andrews by removing peepholes from her door and pointing his cell phone camera into her room. "We don't know what his finances are, but it's a reasonable assumption that he has very little money given...

In the past month, DraftKings and FanDuel have been contending with several states that see the daily fantasy sports operators as illegal gambling. The two companies have also faced dozens of lawsuits throughout the nation. Now, for the first time, the legal intrigue has spread to media companies. Time Warner, NBC Sports Comcast Ventures and 21st Century Fox are among the defendants in an expansive class action lawsuit filed in Florida, first noted by sports law guru Michael McCann of Sports Illustrated. The lawsuit targets others including professional sports leagues, payment processors and of course, DraftKings and FanDuel themselves Perhaps of most concern for the

A San Francisco judge certifies a class action that could change the face of televised collegiate sports.
It's called March Madness. CBS and Turner Broadcasting have paid more than $10.8 billion for rights to an annual 68-team college basketball tournament through 2024. But what has the money really bought?
On Friday, a federal judge in San Francisco partly certified a class action antitrust lawsuit brought by Ncaa collegiate athletes. The plaintiffs allege that the Ncaa forces its athletes to relinquish the right to the commercial use of their images in perpetuity. Now, as a result of the judge's certification, the athletes will be allowed to push for an injunction barring the Ncaa from prohibiting current and former student-athletes from entering into group licensing deals for the use of their names, images, and likenesses in video games and game broadcasts.

While the MTV series "True Life" might be the most recognizable title on director Carlos Puga's CV, when it came to crafting his sophomore feature film, he put together something quite different than you might expect. Picking up Special Jury Recognition for Ensemble Cast at SXSW last month, "Burma" is a compelling family drama and as it continues its festival circuit run, we've got a couple exclusive posters from the movie to share with you. (Former) "Girls" star Christopher Abbott, Gaby Hoffmann and Michael McCann each get some nicely stylized character one sheets. The film tells the story of three children, Susan, Christian, and Win, who were abandoned by their father Dr. Lynn, while their terminally ill mother was on her deathbed. Years later he returns to a family reunion, and his presence stirs up the dynamic among everyone attending. One to keep an eye on, "Burma" will next...

Personally I hope Uncharted 3 sweeps the board in all the categories its nominated in, and – being a Mario fan – I hope Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 pick up awards… although Dead Space iOS could give them a run for the money in the handheld categories!

When Eidos Montreal released their E3 trailer for its upcoming conspiracy thriller, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the reception was overwhelmingly positive. In addition to outstanding visuals and dramatic action, many viewers were enthralled by the haunting pulsing music playing in the background of the trailer, which was created by the game’s composer, Michael McCann. Realizing that the fans wanted to get their grubby little hands on the soundtrack themselves, Eidos Montreal has now made the music available for download for free. You can get the full trailer soundtrack by right-clicking here.
Let’s hope that the brilliant music found in the trailer also complements and enhances the full game when it is released in 2011.
In the meantime, feel free to whet your appetite with the recently released screenshots below.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is set for release in early 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.

Forget about whether or not this is a good remake of the beloved Steve McQueen. This is a smart, stylish drama that treats its characters like adults as it also respects its audience. The Thomas Crown Affair was released in 1999 and remains one of Pierce Brosnan’s most popular films because of his nuanced interpretation of Crown, a wealthy businessman who steals because the challenge keeps him alive.
When he steals from an art museum, insurance investigator Catherine Banning (Rene Russo) assists Detective Michael McCann (Denis Leary) in the investigation. Banning, an American based in Europe, pretty quickly targets Crown as her man. As she lays her sexy trap, we see them toy with one another, leading to a sexually charged sequence that continues to smolder on the Blu-ray release, out this week from MGM Home Entertainment.
