Space Command’s cast is a Who’s Who of TV and film genre stars including: Doug Jones, Ethan McDowell, Bryan McClure, Mike Harney, Bruce Boxleitner, Bill Mumy, James Hong, Mira Furlan, Aaron Gaffey (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Katharine McEwan (Solitary) and John Hennigan. Post sound by David Bartlett (Speed), designs by Iain McCaig, edited by Dave Edison (Remember the Sultana). Music by David Raiklen and created by Star Trek writer Marc Scott Zicree. If prank shows are your guilty pleasure, you are in for a treat. “The Substitute” is an excellent pick for a binge-watch sesh if you find delight in absurdist situations.
You can watch this rib-tickling hidden camera prank show on Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Apple TV. Unfortunately, it is not available on Netflix as of now. BuddyTV will keep you updated if that changes.
“The Substitute” is a reality prank show that features influencers and celebs who are metamorphosed into substitute teachers. These celebs are transformed with prosthetic makeup done by special effects artists and donned with fool-proof costumes, all for surprising classes of unsuspecting students.
At the end of the prank, the school the kids belong to receives a donation of 25,000. Sure, “The Substitute” is entertaining but equally heart-warming. It is produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation, Eli Holzman, and Aaron Saidman (“Undercover Boss”), along with Mike Harney (the showrunner).

Nickelodeon’s new prank series The Substitute got off to a strong start in its April 1 series debut.
The premiere episode drew four million total viewers across all four of its airings Monday, and scored big with kids 2-11 and 6-11. The Substitute, the first series to air from the network’s recently announced content slate, ranked as the top show with Kids 6-11 in its time period across all TV, and it scored year-over-year double and triple-digit increases with Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11, respectively. It averaged a 1.9/454K with Kids 2-11–up 36% over last year; a 1.4/212K with Kids 6-11–up 100%; and 866K total viewers, up 14%. Additional airings also ranked as the top telecasts with Kids 6-11 in their respective time periods, according to the network and Nielsen.
In addition, Nickelodeon has ordered an additional 10 episodes for its hit live-action show Henry Danger.

Nickelodeon has unveiled its 2019 content slate, highlighted by SpongeBob SquarePants spinoffs and an hour-long special, a revival of sketch comedy show All That with Kenan Thompson as executive producer, a reimagined version of Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? hosted by John Cena, and a scripted music series set in a boarding/performing arts high school from Simon Fuller and Ryan Tedder.
The slate, announced today by Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins, was put into development in October at the beginning of Robbins’ tenure and will begin to roll out on Nick’s platforms this summer.

Mike Fleiss, the creator and executive producer of The Bachelor franchise, is joining the CW's new series H8R. He will team with creators Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey and Jeremy Spiegel, along with host Mario Lopez, as executive producers on the one-hour reality show. It pairs well-known personalities with real people who don’t like them. The point is to win them over. Fleiss’ Next Entertainment will produce in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Harney will co-executive produce. Fleiss' reality credits include Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire? and High School Reunion. The series premieres September 14 and will air Wednesdays at 8 Pm.
