- In Sydney celebrating Christmas with family and friends.
- "It's been a big learning curve being part of two-and-a-half hours' television production a week and I enjoy it because it's very challenging. The cast and crew have been so supportive and friendly." On set of Home and Away (1988).
- It's been made so much easier working with Kate Ritchie, who knows this show backwards and who is a remarkably generous and approachable person.
- Obviously it was difficult to come to terms with the character's history, because there were scenes that Martin had done and I hadn't, so in a sense it was like being thrown in at the deep end. Having said that, I did see the opportunity for some very interesting changes I could bring to the character once the relationships within Summer Bay were clearly established.
