Twilight Out of Focus , an upcoming TV anime based on the boys' love josei manga of the same name, has published a new trailer, a new key visual (below), and additional information about the opening and ending themes for the series. The series will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo Mx and Bs Fuji beginning on July 4, 2024, with an additional broadcast to follow on At-x beginning on July 11. Ikusaburo Yamazaki performs the opening theme for the series, which is entitled “Crank Up”. Amber performs the ending theme for the series, which is entitled “Unchain x Unchain”. Both songs are highlighted in the trailer above. The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Jyanome's Twilight Out of Focus boys' love manga has released a 70-second teaser trailer. The clip begins with a scene from a meeting of the film club where it is announced that the theme of the next shooting is boys' love (Bl). It then shows a number of scenes that the distance between Mao Tsuchiya (CV: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) and Hisashi Otomo (CV: Yuma Uchida) is getting closer. In the end clip, Mao says, "How did I notice it? I didn't want to notice a love that would end before it began..." The animated series is set to premiere in Japan in July 2024. And while the yaoi market has never been one of the major ones in the anime industry, the Twilight Out of Focus manga by Jyanome is definitely a major title worth paying attention to. The series has been published since 2018, with five volumes available as of the time of writing. In a bold and praiseworthy move, an anime adaptation of the manga was announced back in 2023, with Studio Deen adapting the series. And while it took some time, we have finally found out some major details about the upcoming adaptation, including the confirmation of its July 2024 premiere.
