- For the past 23 years Simon Egleton has worked in production and post-production. His experience ranges across feature length documentary films, television specials for NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, and AMC, television series for HBO and VH-1, live multi camera music DVDs and projected film and video installations for museums, learning centers and live theatrical settings. Recent projects of note include: "My Architect" a feature- length documentary on the life and work of architect Louis Kahn (nominated for an Academy Award in 2004, won the Directors' Guild of America's Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary in 2004) and three seasons (35 hours) of the HBO television series "The Wire". As of April 2011 he is involved with 3 documentary feature projects: "Joe Papp in Five Acts"-a profile of the legendary theater producer responsible for The Public Theater and Shakespeare in the Park. "The Recomposer of the Decomposed"-a profile of forensic sculptor Frank Bender, whose artwork and participation with The Vidocq Society has contributed to multiple murderers being put behind bars, and cold cases being solved.
