Eva Longoria Parker had no Clue. Fresh from a birthday bash in Miami, the 33-year-old Desperate Housewives star arrived at the San Antonio airport Sunday – completely unaware of the intricate celebration hubby Tony Parker had planned in their hometown. The party, elaborate even by Hollywood standards, involved surprise visits from friends and family, an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt, a lavish dinner at a castle and a real-life version of the Clue board game. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria bravely returned to work Friday - despite being struck on the head by a falling pole while filming a key scene in the second series of the hit TV show Wednesday. The sexy actress - who plays adulterous vixen Gabrielle Solis in the television drama - was rushed to a nearby hospital after the heavy object came loose from the suburban set in Pasadena, California. Amazingly the petite star escaped with just a small bump on the head, and is thrilled there is no long-lasting visible scar. Longoria's publicist Liza Anderson confirms, "She's fine. She's happy and healthy. I spoke to her several times. It was a minor incident and she's ready to go back to work. She's thankful for all the kind get-well wishes." According to the New York Daily News, Longoria was reportedly shooting a jail scene when the accident happened.

And Marc Cherry is keen to scoop some credit for sexy Longoria. He says, "I don't know if it's because she's the youngest or so incredibly gorgeous or because the other women have been kicking around for longer and have a lot of (voting) friends in the industry who are so happy they've caught a second wave. I'd bet Eva was the sixth nominee, just a couple of votes behind someone else. I'm going to work a little harder this season to make sure she had some fantastic scenes just to try to fix this horrendous error." Liza Anderson, a publicist for 30-year-old Longoria, states, "Eva knows her time will come for an Emmy. She has two movies under her belt and is well on her way to becoming a major film star."...
