Kazarian spikes Connors with the slingshot Ddt. Kazarian continues the assault with guillotine leg drops for Romero and Swann. Knight catches Kazarian in mid-air with a dropkick. Match #1: Time Machine (Kushida & Motor City Machine Guns) def. The Design The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Time Machine competes in their first of two six-man tag team matches within 24 hours. At Sacrifice, they’ve got Impact World Champion Josh Alexander, Rich Swann and Kazarian. Tonight, they collide with The Design! Time Machine targets the shoulder of Angels in the early going. Kushida hits a sliding dropkick, sending him face-first into the floor. Angels creates separation with a neckbreaker to Sabin, then makes the tag to Deaner. Sabin fights out of the corner, delivering a series of strikes to Kon and Angels on the apron. Sabin rolls through and makes the tag to Kushida. The pace...

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which again features eight matches this week. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Zyra
My Thoughts: Once again Emi Sakura lets her opponent show what she’s got in a quasi-squash match for Aew. Sakura could totally dominate her opponents week after week but the fact she doesn’t says a lot about the wrestler she is. I’m digging this singles run Sakura is on right now too!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Jake Hager def. Levi Shapiro
My Thoughts: We rarely get Jake Hager in singles matches on TV/YouTube these days, so it was great to see him work even if this was a squash match!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Marina Shafir def. Mighty Mayra

Momentum is up for grabs ahead of the blockbuster six-man tag team match between Bullet Club and Time Machine at No Surrender! Kushida hits a handspring back elbow, then soars off the apron with a diving knee. Kushida continues to target the arm of Bey before both men are taken out with a double clothesline on the outside. The referee counts to nine as Bey and Kushida make it back in the ring just in time. Bey spikes him head-first into the mat for two. Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features a sub-1 hour show this week, with only 8 matches on the card, which pleases me a Lot! We’ve got Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Johnnie Robbie, Vipress and Zyra
My Thoughts: This match saw a return to the Shafir/Rose/Vickie squabbles that we’ve seen previously – they’re obviously building to the split between the trio but at the same time I’ve enjoyed the teaming of Nyla Rose’s intensity with Vickie Guerrero’s brash attitude and I’ll miss it when the split does happen. As for this match? It felt more like an angle than a match but still, an Aew quasi-squash is still an Aew quasi-squash!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Daniel Garcia def.

Taylor Wilde came on the scene at Impact Wrestling as a fresh-faced twenty-something, an underdog who stunned fans by toppling Awesome Kong (Glow’s Kia Stevens) to win the Knockouts championship. Taylor went on to have a stellar career before retiring from the sport to become a mom and firefighter. Fast forward a decade and Wilde found her way back home to the Impact ring. Now the Canadian is enjoying a renewed passion for wrestling, looking to leave the upcoming pay-per-view event Hard to Kill in a blaze of glory with a win over Deonna Purrazzo, Killer Kelly, and Masha Slamovich. Here Wilde reflects on her journey, fighting fires and opponents. You found your way back to pro wrestling in 2021 after a decade away. How do you look back on that decision? Taylor Wilde: I saw this huge jump from what used to be the “Attitude Era” with the blonde...

Match #1: Taylor Wilde def. Masha Slamovich The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Before they compete in a Four-Way #1 Contenders match at Hard To Kill, Masha Slamovich and Taylor Wilde go one-on-one! Another competitor in that match, Deonna Purrazzo, joins Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan on commentary. Wilde chokes Slamovich on the ropes, then drives her face-first into the apron. Slamovich shuts down her momentum with a series of snap suplexes, including one into the corner turnbuckles. Both Knockouts are down following double clotheslines in the middle of the ring. Wilde quickens the pace, then hits a modified Codebreaker for two. Slamovich disrespects Purrazzo at ringside but that gives Wilde the opportunity to capitalize,...

Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Danni Bee
My Thoughts: Danni Bee got a couple of moves in before Emi Sakura took control and proceeded to squash Bee thoroughly. Though it’s a credit to Bee that the audience were firmly behind her, even though she stood no chance!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Matt Menard and Angelo Parker def. Warren Johnson and Zack Mason
My Thoughts: What the hell was this?! Bell rings, Menard and Paker get the pin. In Less than thirty seconds!! Strong booking for a team that haven’t been booked anywhere near as strong as this since joining the Jas.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Willow Nightingale def. Vertvixen

Match #1: Frankie Kazarian def. Kenny King The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Before Frankie Kazarian challenges Mike Bailey for the X-Division Title tomorrow night at Bound For Glory, he must get through the man he pinned to become #1 Contender, Kenny King! Kazarian counters an early Royal Flush attempt into a strong clothesline. King avoids a leg drop on the apron, then hits a slingshot crossbody to the outside. Kazarian turns the tide with a belly-to-belly suplex into the corner turnbuckles. Kazarian hits the springboard leg drop for two. King drives him face-first into the turnbuckle, then connects with a T-Bone suplex out of the corner. King almost puts Kazarian away with the Tiger Driver but it’s still not enough.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which is another stacked 10-match card; which is one less match than last week I suppose… On with the review!
Match #1: Marina Shafir def. Sio Nieves
My Thoughts: We’re in quasi-squash territory for this one. Unfortunately Shafir hasn’t lived up to her potential so far but there’s still time for her to develop in matches like this or… Maybe its time to get Shafir a manager as a mouth piece? Her in-rings skills are fine but she seems to get distracted by the storytelling aspects of wrestling.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Ari Daivari def. Ar Fox
My Thoughts: This was a great match between two guys that are always seemingly under most fan’s radar(s). This was a fantastic display of technical wrestling from Daivari and Fox. I may not like Daivari’s new faction but...

Match #1: Digital Media Championship Match – Matt Cardona def. Jordynn Grace The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation. I’m Phil and this weeks episode features a match between Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela – their feud apparently culminating/continuing on Dark, where most of this story has played out…And the breakdown of the Dark Order. It really is interesting to see both stories play out only on Aew’s YouTube shows and not across All shows like some other companies. Rewards those that watch all of Aew programming.
Match #1: Thunder Rosa def. Kaia McKenna
My Thoughts: Kaia McKenna was seriously no match for Thunder Rosa here. What little offense McKenna got in looked weak compared to the absolutely vicious attacks Rosa laid in on her. This one started out like most Rosa YouTube matches – opponent gets some offense in etc., but quickly switched into a absolute squash match.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Gunn Club def.

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, which once again comes from Pittsburgh – a crowd who are so hot for Aew no matter the match Or the show! Makes a world of difference to hear an excited crowd during matches…
Match #1: 2.0 def. Skyler Andrews & Sam Adams
My Thoughts: Skyler Andrews & Sam Adams opened this match strongly, looking like they might have been headed for an upset but it was not to be… 2.0, who are on a hot streak in Aew after being released by WWE, got the win and are on a roll going into this weeks Dynamite.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Tay Conti def. Rebecca Scott
My Thoughts: This was a pretty good womens match, with the debuting Rebecca Scott looking good if a little green for TV. Conti had control for the majority of this match, looking dominant with her Dd-Tay finish.
My Score:...
