“The Crow,” a reimagining that seems to be finally happening, has just announced the casting of Danny Huston in an undisclosed role.
Huston joins the film, which also stars Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs (as the woman he loves). The property is based on a comic book series by James O’Barr that was originally published back in 1989. In 1994, a film adaptation of the comic book by Alex Proyas was released into theaters, perhaps better known as the movie where star Brandon Lee was accidentally shot and killed on set. While it took a mad scramble (and several million more dollars) to finish “The Crow,” it went on to become a sizable hit and it inspired some so-so sequels, but the property had always been earmarked for revitalization.

The trailers for Jordan Peele‘s Nope were all intentionally vague in an effort to preserve the movie’s mysteries and surprises, but the gloves are off now that it’s been in theaters for a few weeks. Nope just crossed 100 million at the domestic box office, and Universal has put together one more trailer in an effort to encourage fans to go see the movie one more time.
This final “see it again” trailer for Nope is loaded with spoilers that give away a whole lot more than the original trailers did, so be sure to only watch it if you’ve already seen the movie.
Then again, if you’ve been holding out, maybe this latest trailer will be just what you need to push you over the edge. It would seem that is Universal’s hope at this point in time.
See it again… see it for the first time…...

Another win for “R” rated original horror, Jordan Peele‘s Nope just crossed 100 million at the domestic box office this week, the film now in its third week of theatrical release.
Jordan Peele‘s two previous horror movies, Get Out and Us, both hit 175 million domestically and 255 million worldwide by the end of their respective runs, which means Nope is Peele’s lowest-grossing movie to date. The bad news there is that Nope also happens to be Peele’s most expensive movie to date, with a reported 68 million going into the production.
That means the film will likely have to hit around 200 million before it’s profitable at the box office, with the film’s international numbers sure to help the cause in the coming weeks.
At this time the film hasn’t yet been released outside the United States, but we’ll of course report those numbers as they start to come in.

Since its 2002 premiere, “The Bachelor” has given love, tears, wine, a bunch of spin-offs, and lots and lots of drama to Bachelor Nation. But for the titular Bachelors and the ladies vying for their hearts, most haven’t had a happily ever after. The show has only resulted in three marriages so far, with most relationships only lasting a few months.
And those three come with an asterisk because for two of them, they wed their runners-up, not the women they chose and proposed to initially. So yeah, that means, only one Bachelor wed the woman he picked on the show.
Then there’s the time that Brad Womack pulled a Kelly Taylor and picked neither of his finalists on Season 11. The only two-time Bachelor, he returned in Season 15 and did make a choice that time, but alas, it did not last.

Fox released the first footage from the “Beverly Hills, 90210” meta revival on Thursday, showing the gang return to the Peach Pit and Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green return to making out.

Manifest delivers an effective mix between its crime of the week and the central mystery this time, but will it always be able to do so?

This review contains spoilers for Manifest.
Manifest Season 1 Episode 3
Manifest is an interesting hybrid in that its human drama, which has been likened to This Is Us, may very well appeal to a completely different audience than that which typically tunes in for the puzzle-box mystery of the time jump and the mysterious precognitive powers of those aboard Flight 828. The crime of the week was straight out of the pages of any police procedural, but fortunately this week’s divine intervention in solving the crime made more sense in the context of the central story. Individual aspects of “Turbulence” shine while the overall concept still has the potential for ups and downs depending on how well the disparate story structures fit together.
