- Inga Rumpf was born on August 2, 1946 in Hamburg, Germany. She is an actress and composer, known for Mit Pauken und Plaketten (1970), Der Kürbis, das Transportproblem und die Traumtänzer (1969) and Keine Startbahn West - Eine Region wehrt sich (1982).
- Her father was a sailor, her mother worked as a tailor.
- Started her singing career in the early 1960s and has been member of several groups: "The City Preachers" (1965-1970), "Frumpy" (1970-1972), "Atlantis "(1972-1976), "Reality"(1981-1982) and "Inga Rumpf & Friends" (1986-1987) and in the early 1990s after their reunion "Frumpy" again.
- Has concentrated on gospel music in the last years, often performing at the religious events.
- Recorded some songs with Keith Richards, which were never released.
