Candace Bushnell, the author of Sex and the City, is taking her talents to reality TV. The bestselling author announced that she is working with Bunim/Murray Productions on a dating show that aims to show that women in their 50s and beyond can still find love. The announcement comes after the success of her most recent book, Is There Still Sex and the City?

Candace Bushnell has filed for divorce from husband, ballet dancer Charles Askegard. The Sex and the City creator announced that she would end the nine-year marriage last week but has since apparently discovered Askegard's affair with fellow ballerina Georgina Pazcoguin, reports The New York Post. "The divorce was proceeding amicably, then Candace found out about Georgina and became very upset," a source told the paper. "She believes their affair could have gone on for some time. Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell has filed for divorce from her husband of nine years, ballet dancer Charles Askegard. In court papers, Bushnell, 53, claims Askegard had an affair, according to the New York Post, with ballerina Georgina Pazcoguin. The two have worked with the New York City Ballet for the past eight years. The writer, whose newspaper column spawned the hit TV show starring Sarah Jessica Parker, filed for divorce on Friday.
