Lon Christopher Teter
- Actor
Lon began writing stories before he had started elementary school. By
eighth grade he was writing screenplays. By ninth grade he was filming
spoofs of Saturday Night Live (1975). Lon finally filmed his first "real" movie (trust us-
that's a relative term), his freshman year at the University of Kansas.
It was a C-Grade slasher film titled McKillum Hall (1993) and was
entered in the FOKUS (Film Organization for KU Students) where it
failed to place. Nearly 10 years later, Lon has written and directed
over seven films and has worked on films by two other directors (his
partner-in-crime Nicholas J. Engle and Jason Bailey). Three of his films
were shown at Wichita State, another three were shown at a fiction
convention in Wichita. Lon is currently filming several more short
films and has partnered up with actor 'J. Crawley' who was featured in
Alexander Payne's About Schmidt (2002) starring Jack Nicholson. Lon is married to a beautiful woman
named Lara, and together the happy couple has four beautiful
children.
