A graduate of George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Earned a
bachelor of arts degree in writing and literature in 2003, and a master
of arts degree in teaching in 2004.
Took "Therese Faustina" as her Christian names.
Has two elder sisters and one younger brother.
Is fluent in Spanish.
Had once desired to become a nun but soon realized that leading a
religious life was not her calling.
Was called to read the part of "Celine" in the movie "Therese" at
first, and was chosen to play St. Therese later.
Loves writing and telling stories.
Was a student of Camas High School, where her mother Jan Younce
taught.
Converted to Roman Catholicism from the Society of Friends (Quakers).
