- Pancho Rodríguez was born on September 16, 1975 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He is a writer and actor, known for Llamando a un ángel (2008), Balas salvajes (1999) and Ulises y la puerta de los titanes (2000).
- He is the bass player in a cult band of romantic-kitsch music named Los bomberos (The Firemen). The band appears with a fictional name in El sueño del caimán (2000).
- During the shooting of his film De Ángeles, Flores y Fuentes (2005) he carried a photo of the Coen brothers, to take a look at whenever he felt lost.
