French-Tunisian Anne Abitbol (Anne A-R) is a screenwriter/documentary maker and Creative Strategist. Reporting reality in fiction or documentary, and deploying strategies to maximize the impact of stories, are her two driving forces.
A graduate of La Femis in script writing and Sciences Po in "Digital Humanities". She has worked in Middle East, Uganda, South Sudan and Russia, working on the notion of identity. Her documentaries have been broadcast in France and abroad. Her photographic manifesto in support of refugees, "I am with them", has been exhibited at the Institut Du Monde Arabe, the United Nations headquarters in New York, the OECD and the Quai d'Orsay, among others. She has received awards for her work as a documentary filmmaker and photographer. She also co-founded a pure player news magazine ("Explicite"), and worked in a press agency (ETX/Majelan). Returning to fiction, she collaborated with Thomas Bidegain.
